unfortunately i doubt it's a morale boost when his previous movies already had over 12 million moviegoers ðŸ˜
obviously, but i am talking compared to the 1st part, it's not a bed result. the director mentioned he worked on the editing like crazy and talked abt the movie as if it's his child lol so id imagine the fact that the 2nd part is getting decent viewership will be nice for him.
this is confirmed to be a melo! i am so so so so soooo excited that he finally picked a softer genre because i rlly want his emotional acting to get more appreciation. and he's always good at picking scripts so seeing that the writer did a fan favorite drama is reassuring! I AM SEATED
an article i read said something about "the life of men and women" which is, incredibly vague i know lol but ig more will be revealed later on. but it's confirmed to be a melodrama and will probably have romance, he mentioned last year his next drama will definitely have it. since the scriptwriter did run on, i think we can expect something similar!
Nooooo. I spent a fortune trying to get a 'Vincenzo' lighter where the logo didn't rub off after just a few days.…
i was also on the hunt for his lighter but it's so hard to get one. i eventually opted for a custom zippo from an engraving service. looks fantastic! if you need a clear cassano logo.jpg hit me up haha
you're absolutely right and it's a sad development. i guess they went for quantity over quality. and these articles are 100% lifted from korean tabloids, if you click on the "source" provided at the end of each article you can see it's mostly straight up taken from naver entertainment news posts.
JOONGKI NEW DRAMA THIS YEAR COMING Y'ALL ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ tentative title is "MY YOUTH" and the writer is the one who wrote Run On! i am thanking the heaven's my hunch was right that joongki is moving towards softer genres with his new project!!
He is different because he isn't the normal chaebol ML. Chaebol ML CEO types are normally business oriented, cold…
exactly!! your last point is one of the main things that makes him very different (besides being a green flag) is that unlike most chaebol MLs he actually becomes very conscious about the class/wealth disparity between him and normal people. while he was never outright arrogant he did live in his own bubble and being with sarang who's working class makes him aware of how much other people have to sacrifice. they even straight up talk about this together. he starts to become mindful of even the most "insignificant" employees to the point where he actively tries to shape company policy into something that appreciates the employees more. and it's a direct foil to his sister who sees them as nothing but money chasers. it all ties into the drama's themes dealing with service workers. i don't think there are many chaebol MLs with character arcs like this. things like these are hardly ever adressed in other chaebol romcoms, because most of them simply don't deal with it. which is why i really don't understand how people can say this drama is nothing but empty fluff bc it clearly isn't
