I did like the drama, however a lot of things were never properly explained. how did hyeseong manage to paint perfectly without seeing any color? none of his clothes were mismatched, his home furnished nicely.... also, he learned early that places changed, why was he so confidently sure woojin would die right there? why did hyeseong tell him he would be leaving before woojin was in the clear? like, spend the whole day with him to be sure. so many plot holes that kind of ruined it for me in the end. I'm glad they found each other eventually, but I wish we had gotten more of that...
the one who plays doyoon (hangyeom) is a member of the group kevin (na aejoon) is in, omega x. just like how two members (jaehan and yechan) who played in a bl together, had a cameo on jazz for two as well. I love imagining that the dramas are all playing in the same universe. 🤭
I really liked this a lot. It was short, sweet, cute and they had amazing kiss scenes. I'm hoping for a second season for the second couple because they're actually adorable and have a lot of potential!
I actually really liked this. Would I call it a BL? Probably not. Ending it with a lackluster confession and some handholding is something you expect from shows from like 2015. "The Lover" comes to mind randomly, I would even argue the gay couple there had a bigger romance than Heesu and Seungwon. Honestly, if they had marketed this as a straight drama and made heesu and seungwon the second couple while Chanyoung and Jiyu were the leads would've made more sense. I liked it for what it was, but it wasn't a BL.
Also, for those who have read the Webtoon: is the story very different? I would guess there is more of a spotlight on Heesu. Is it worth it to read?
Korea has to drop the 'I don't like guys, I like you' trope really fast cause it's getting tiring already. Like…
I can actually think of a handful of male leads who have had boyfriends before... usually in those it's about one who is (openly or closeted) gay and the other lead who only figure out they like men through the first lead
is it gay?
