Everything else FL has done was so classy, and slapping another girl (even tho she's infuriating and does deserve it) seems so random for her? Also, why slap another girl when your "husband" is letting her hold his arm (we know he doesnt care about her but still. it's more his responsibility to not disrespect FL than Fang Lei's)
On ep13, it's so interesting that he gifts her stuff every time she does something for him. It's so transactional, and like training a dog! Positive reinforcement - give treats when the dog does a good trick. It's how other rich wives are also treated in the drama, not just FL. Other wives also get yearly "bonus" if they help their husbands. So it's completely normal for Haoming, but FL finds it weird. Love the details like this!
The last few episodes were so good! Before I felt that the drama's production wasn't good but since the last 3-4 eps everything has been perfect!! It's a really good story.

Yes he's definitely a control freak...but honestly I didn't think like this (as I didn't know the things that havent happened in the drama yet like he lied to her too etc). But now I have another perspective while watching!

I actually like the music, just sometimes how it's played in certain contexts feels weird..like one incident was when she was in someone's cart (while visiting her grandma) and they were talking - albeit irrelevant things - but the background music was too loud.
