Zhang Li did a great job in Love on the Turquoise Land. It'll be fun to see her with Dilraba again in this drama. Both pretty girls!

It's mostly political, mystery. there is also romance but that's a subplot. There's a season 2 and will be a season 3 in the future. It's really well done, as the ratings will tell you.

I'm rewatching this after years for the first time. And it's still so good. Scenes that make me laugh and then cry, and the politics and mystery! Brilliant. The romance seems the only weak point according to me, but for some reason even that feels better while I'm rewatching.

I Geon is an actual red flag. Thinking about another girl and calling her "cute" multiple times during a date with Go Eun is not cool at all. Also, during the bonfire he said he'd never compromise himself for Go Eun, but...since when is bringing food to a girl something that needs compromising?? That's just taking care of her! He said Seungmin and Hyunwoo were like servants just because of this. Go Eun made a good choice here.

The song that Ji Hyun and Won Kyu listened to in EXchange has become really popular in Korea, it's #1 currently on streaming sites. This shows the influence of this show, they played the song only once I think, and showed it's lyrics that Won Kyu wrote, and it became so popular even though it was released years ago.

ok so that was only during lunch time right? He didn't sit next to her or look at her. Which I get, must be hurtful, but does it really warrant such a big tantrum? He himself came right after lunch to the makeup room to talk to her, but she was talking with Su been then.

My whole point is she should have atleast mentioned Su Been to him. Because Sung Il has been honest and respectful towards her for his feelings. i mean idc if no else thinks this way, but I don't idolise anyone on this show seriously and if you think she's smart and mature, well...maybe after a few years you will rewatch and see she's flawed like everyone (which is totally normal, I'm not even hating on her or anything) so no need to act like everything she's doing is right and heroic.

how has he played her? He told her he's curious about Mina Sue. Min Ji said a thousand times that she's okay with him going to paradise with Mina Sue. The second they go, Min Ji flips, talks with Mina Sue and all of a sudden interested in Su Been. What did Sung Il do wrong here pls explain lol

can say the same to you guys....she could've atleast told Sung Il she's interested in someone else too. Isn't she doing same thing as Mina Sue (on a very small scale lol) where she is doing good with a guy but suddenly turns to someone else now?
