You know I was kind of iffy about watching this drama from the trailers I saw on social media. But as I started to watch it, it started to grow onto me. The first few episodes had me hooked. The whole storyline is pretty spectacular, with Park Shin Hye's character totally different from all the other roles she's played. I was sort of skeptical about the whole "badass/rebellious" student look cos it did seem pretty cringe-inducing at some parts. But I dealt with it nonetheless.
Kim Rae Won's character is pretty fresh with the whole "optimism is key" motto. Although it can be pretty annoying and pushy at times, I feel.
The story so far is good. I get very excited with the medical portion, maybe cos I'm a sucker for those kinds of scenes. I'm not going to lie though it's been pretty hard to keep up with this show, it is mainly difficult for me to find a way to motivate myself to finish it. I don't know if it's just cos it's hard to keep me interested for too long or if the story just seems to be missing something. I feel like some aspects of the drama moved way too quickly and just left me kind of resolved a little too early in the series.
I'll try and stick with it though, the cast is pretty great and the medical scenes are wonderful to watch. And since it is a medical drama I'll try not to focus too much on the non-medical themes involved and finish it.
