How is the show people?... I watched the first episode and its so dull... Everything feels like its in slow motion.. Does it get better.. I don't want to miss this bec i have been waiting so much for bai lu in a modern drama.. Not sure if i should continue
I don't know how i feel about this show...when the leads talk about anything but work they are really good.... But the problem is that we have tooooooo much talk about science... All the time.. And its not even interesting... . Even half the interaction between the leads is purely work related not adding anything to character development.... And the work people suck... With such employees How this lab became a top research centre is a complete mystery.. I watch this show with the fast forward button...
... Its a nice simple feel good drama... The plot is pretty much non existant . But the 2 leads have a lot of chemistry and that makes the show very watchable... It wont be a show I'll repeat watch... .Its like falling into your smile (not the plot) - nothing outstanding or memorable but you'll feel happy for the 30 mins when you watch it.. And in these stressful times that is enough
I'm iffy about the show after the first episode. It just felt too over the top. They have a good story if they just reduce theatrics.. Also the dystopia wasn't really shown.. Felt like a normal day korea... Hopefully we'll dwell on this dystopian world and its rules more

I was so excited on watching the trailer. And i generally like Johnny. But god this show is cringe. It is just poorly made. The medical scenes are so so so terrible. In order to make the ML the usual alpha male, they went ahead and made him an ass and the FL an idiot. I think she is the most incompetent and stupid doctor I've seen in dramaland. I haven't seen the actress in anything before but whatever comments i read before the show seemed to imply that she is a good actress but she is just bad. Johnny also is extremely one note. Given the genre and setup, comparisons with Dots are inevitable. I didn't even like dots but it seems like a masterpiece compared to this.
Can anyone suggest any recent c-dramas that have good acting/direction /storyline? Bec everything I'm picking up recently is bland, cliched and generally poorly made.
From feb it has shifted to may. I don't think it's ever going to be shown. Why. Why. 2 of the hottest stars and they keep delaying.. What's the damn reason

I used to initially hate the female character there. She was a complete idiot. But even then i couldn't stop watching that show. Bec marcus chang was amazzzzing as a conflicted lover. He hated what she represented yet he loved her. Marcus being tormented about his decisions was my jam. There was so much chemistry between the 2. That show was seriously addictive.
