I can't find words to describe my disappointment with this story. So far, it does not make any sense. I'm sad.
KWS' character made no sense at all; he treats her horribly but loves her so much? And then when Kim Han Neul is preparing to seduce him in disguise I realized I had to cut my losses.
I love it! That powerful blue dude (s01ep01 31:05) foretold the early Neolithic human pop. bottle neck from clans killing other men for control of farm land. The medieval shield right at the beginning wasn't great; and what's with all the steel swords?
Well; what a mess and more disappointing because of the cool premise and good actors. The now tiny Oh Se-Yeon character has become fully annoying; where is the compentence shown in ep2? She runs around in a panic and discovers bodies. I might drop this at ep.6 if I can bear to watch that.
Leads have great chemistry; compelling side characters. Somehow I am having trouble get into this show. Are the writers relying a little too much on main lead chemistry and not enough on story development? I do like that Curator Jeong has middle-class parents; and she is not portrayed as either a gold-digger, workaholic or otherwise hyper snotty or suffering from some odd inferiority.
Still I think I watched ep. 6-10 4 times over because I couldn't remember what happend.
Then Seon Joo's argument with her PD husband over his assignment made 0 sense; it made sense if you're a teenager but really these are supposed to be mature adults with family, work etc. sheesh weak writing. Writers write like we the audience have some brains; please!
Ep. 4 was a total waste; Cha Min is exceptionally stupid and now unfortunately revived So-Yeon just runs after Cha Min saying "Hey don't do that ..." Ugh I might come back to this after all the episodes are out. Bring back Kim Sarang!
I really don't like Go Se Yeon she is way too full of herself.I mean even before she died, how can she think she's…
You might hate her but what if every dude around at your school, work, wherever were constantly bothering you. They need a short, sharp, shock and be sent on their way.
omo, omo, Omona! brother sister forbidden love; but wait he's not really related to her vibes like crazy. I wonder when this chaebol-related trope will disappear?
Overall an attempt at something "deep" that didn't deliver. Too much tennis in the 1st one. Why is grown woman daughter IU jumping on her dads back? Creepy. I enjoyed "Kiss Burn," two school girls trying to do all those revenge pranks. The acting and directing were phenomenal; the story telling, writing ok.
Loving it so so so so much now upto ep. 8. It is hilarious as well as violent criminals having good days and bad days. Love the strong cop and the charming rascal husband.
The villain lady is doing some great chewing the scenes; love her from Mr. Sunshine.
this was great yet horrible.. a well balanced bad/good drama, if that makes any sense... they were really messy…
I have to agree with XingBack; at least for me it isn't worth it, I dropped it way back in ep.6; I should have dropped it in ep. 2. I did circle back and watch the last two episodes which were great.
Yoo so SO cute & adorable. Have to agree with El Lie it jumped the shark in ep. 11. What world renowned psychiatrist behaves like the Dr. does in his patient's (CEO's) house? Too makjang that did not add to the story. The last 1/3 of ep.11 became cringey and unwatchable. Where is the rest of the cast? Production company cost cutting by only having the 2 stars holed up in that sterile chaebol home?
I want to see more of her awesome friend Do Hee.
I forgot that I was watching it went from ep.11 -> ep.16.
ep. 3 from 47:35 to 50:10 wow so powerful; breathtaking composition. The super adorable puppy, stained now by blood on his hand. Hyung looks very ominous on top of the stairs at 49:49. Genius. It felt like 10 min. but in just under 2:30 min. so much of the back story and his feelings about his situation and his brother. Bravo!
So disappointing; especially after that great ep. 1 so much charm and energy. From ep. 12 just skip to ep. 29. Its all filler. The cast and supporting characters (the mom, Bok Soo's noona, etc.) were great but really this was a lost opportunity. Whenever the beautiful bright colors of a rom-com thumbnail preview turns into the shadowy gloomy stills of a melo; I'm out. Oh well.
pretty hilarious so far but its only ep. 2 Sung Hoon's character is the same as always either haughty chaebol or spoiled idol. Though he is stretching his acting in playing the hostage character and looks pretty natural. I am hoping he keeps trying to extend his range as an actor.
I stopped watching when Drama Fever went poof. Picked it up again and I can't stand it. Dropped immediately. This really is a melo; there is a lot of misery ( which some people love). Also there is a reason genre, tropes and cliches develop, because a lot of people are pleased by it and over time we expect certain things for it to work as a story . Portraying these characters too realistically in all their unhappiness proved not entertaining enough for me to endure.
I think I'm too old for this much cliche, naivety and silliness in one drama.... Lee Jong Seok's acting skills…
I look forward to this drama; its formulaic but very likable. I like all the characters but never really bought the first love Eun-ho had for Dan-i; it seemed very childish. And after the flash backs in the hospital a little incestuous-seeming.
I like that there is a Ms. Go character; in real life work there are many people like that protecting their turf etc.
Lots of action in ep. 11; looking forward to next week.
