you're welcome to respectfully disagree with me, but don't police how I express my opinions please

don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy this show and have fun watching it, I’m not going to drop it. But I feel like the plot is kind of getting away from us, every episode feels like filler since FuMoo got together and no progress is being made with any other couple so it’s loosing points for me. But it’s just a romcom, it’s not that serious

Yes, it's the perfect amount. I never said otherwise I was just talking about the reveal of Barth's parents. Sorry if that was confusing

I disagree, there is just enough context in episode 1 to explain (not excuse) his actions, but it's only until episode 4 that Barth feels comfortable enough with Tanrak to tell him about his parents. We see this play out for the first time as Tanrak is hearing it. It would have ruined the moment for the audience to know already and just hear a recounted event to symbolize Barth and Tan getting closer. In that scene, we are feeling what Tanrak feels, understanding Barth's life in a new way. It was powerful and done very well, in my opinion.

Can someone please explain the significance of the black uniforms they wear sometimes? I tried to look it up but didn't find anything and I haven't seen any other shows do this.

Oat's character in My Stubborn really annoyed me, but Phatsa is already a lot better; he's very likeable.

I'm a little annoyed with this episode because they already used this trope of someone else being into either Fu or Moo-moo, twice! But I liked how they dug into Fu's actions in high school. Now when are we actually going to get some real content from YuTai?? Everyone else's story is so minor compared to the mains. Except for Tian's roster for some reason.

I'm loving how funny and ridiculous this show can be. So far every single episode has had a cringey moment so bad I've closed my computer a couple times. Like, please stop omg, 🤣 it's so fun though

is there a complete show like this ? i mean from the perspective of the murderer
The King of Pigs is from the perspective of the murderer, but there's still plot twists, I recommend it. But it's a different premise than Mouse.

I see what you're talking about, and I've haven't watched anything else from these creators, so I don't have that context like you. But I have seen this trope before in other kdramas, and you're right. For me, I believe the message the show really wanted to push was related to Cheol and the middle school plot, and the ending was just the ending lol. Especially since the show was based on a movie that was based on real life, and they changed so many things from the original.

Thanks for discussing this with me!

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
Not bad, but predictable. It's not that I hated the ending, I saw it coming from a mile away and it made sense,…
"I'm not missing the point of the show", okay but Cheol literally used the bullying as an excuse for his suicide because he hated his life and was depressed. I thought that was obvious? Then when he changes his mind it's because he finally realizes what he has (aka. friends and a loving mother). Jong-seok pushes him because he's fucking crazy blah blah blah... but suicide is a serious topic that the show directly states is a tragedy, I don't think it's glorifying it at all. And it's not the fault of the showmakers if people with no media literacy don't pick up on the nuance. Not trying to hate and I do agree with your other takes, I'm just saying they weren't "making a spectacle of suicide".

if you couldn't get to the end that's probably for the best because I just watched the last two episodes and they are probably the most devastating and brutal ones

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
Just finished, the last two episodes were the best
That final shot of Chul, Jong-seok, and Kyung-min all holding hands on the pavement, then the flashback to JS and KM as kids on the floor, I bawled. So diabolical but I loved it

Just when I think omegaverse has hit rock bottom, it manages to sink lower and drag the whole idea of good storytelling…
did you know you don't have to watch it?
