I like where this is going. I feel bad for both of them. I don't know which would be worse, remembering everything or forgetting things. I wonder how long into the drama we'll be getting flashbacks, I think it would kind of disrupt the main leads' story if they do it until the end. However, I don't mind it for now, it's necessary. Chemistry is definitely there and they look good together. This will be easy to watch. I'm looking forward to the next episode!
First episode was good. It didn't make me want to skip any part and the plot is quite interesting.
Although there wasn't much interaction between the leads, I think they'll have good chemistry in the future. She's straightforward and is able to stun him the way he stuns his interviewees. He's a really good anchor and he asks the right questions without caring about the status of those he interviews. I liked those scenes the most.
Age gap shouldn't really be a problem to those who dislike it. So far it's not really obvious. ML is a bit cold and distant while FL is more open and cheerful which might make her seem less mature, but we've seen such characters in dramas that didn't have an age gap.
Supporting characters will probably be one of the reasons why I'll like this drama. Ha Jin's team has good relationship with each other and they're funny. Her assistant is probably my favorite so far.
That poster made me click on this. It looks so pretty, I would watch it just because of that lol It doesn't seem to be something new or different based on the synopsis, but romance and age gap tags will always pique my interest.
This sounds like something made for me, but I don't want to get too excited. I was looking forward to a lot of Chinese dramas because synopsis was great, but then the drama itself was low quality. Hopefully it'll be different with this one and we'll get subs.
This is getting better and better. Hae Won and Yeong Woo handled that situation perfectly. He wasn't beating around the bush, he expressed his feelings pretty directly and she was honest and rejected him. There was no unnecessary drama, just a mature conversation. I like how she thanked him for what he did for her. To him it might not have seemed like a lot, but it changed her life at that point. She needed someone and he appeared. I hope we'll see more of his character because I'm curious about his relationship with his father after what he said,
Jealous Eun Sub is probably the cutest Eun Sub. It was quite obvious that Yeong Woo's appearance bothered him and him denying it while Jang Woo was teasing him made me laugh lol He couldn't hide his disappointment after Hae Won left, however, he was still a sweetheart as always, and went after her. Her smile when she saw the light told us everything. She looked beautiful at the reunion and it was adorable how they were looking for each other the whole time. They're so compatible. I can't wait until we see some of their conversations after their relationship is a done deal.
I don't think I would be bored if I lived there. It seems like a perfect place for me. It's not even because I live in a city and need a change, it's just a great way to deal with anxiety. Simply watching this drama relaxes me, I can only imagine how it would feel like to actually live there. I suppose people take things for granted and think grass is greener on the other side. I might be doing the same thing by saying all of this lol However, I think a lot of people miss having this type of community where everyone is ready to help you and no one is excluded. It's hard to find that nowadays...
It seems like we'll finally find out a bit more about Eun Sub's story in the next episode. I like the mystery vibe in this drama. It's not too much, but just enough to not make it boring. I can't wait for next Monday!
We thought Hae Won's aunt was cold, but then her mom showed up. Her mom is a very interesting character. I think "The best of nutcases in history." describes her mom and aunt pretty well lol I like the flashbacks they included in today's episode and how they're slowly preparing the ground to explain the whole situation with Hae Won's family.
Conversation between Hae Won and her mom must have been emotionally tiring, but also very relieving. She's getting more and more open about her feelings and thoughts and by doing that she's taking the first step towards healing. Her mom isn't a good parent, but that can be attributed to what she has been through. I know such experiences are traumatic and take a toll on relationships you have with others. However, it seems she was distanced even when she was younger, so I still don't know what to think about all of that.
The whole Bo Young situation is annoying me more and more. How in the world can someone be so egoistic. "She keeps getting the wrong idea." The amount of ego behind that sentence. People who think like that after making a mistake are the worst to deal with. Also, I love the notion of "taking away someone" as if that's possible. If you've never had them, how can they be taken away? Even if you did have them, which is weird to say when talking about human beings, that person participated in it. They decided they want to be "taken away". Ugh... I'm glad Hae Won asked Eun Sub about it because she looked bothered after seeing them together. His willingness to explain it and openness is refreshing. Usually in dramas ML would lie and a conflict would occur. The way he cares about her, looks at her and how his imagination is so pure is beautiful to see. It's definitely something different from most dramas I've seen and I'm loving it.
This is the only drama that makes me want to write these incredibly long comments... lol
I knew So Ah had no chance and I started leaning towards Yi Seo as the series went on but I can't help but feel…
I think you have to take into account how SRY was still a bit confused at that moment and he obviously had a hard time dealing with his feelings towards Yi Seo. Also, A LOT of stuff happened in this episode and he was in a rush to catch up to her. Although I fully agree with you that you should make it clear to people if you're interested in them or not, I'm kind of liking how it all played out because Soo Ah's character doesn't get any sympathy from me. However, knowing how SRY is, I'm sure they'll talk and he'll make it clear. He was honest and blunt throughout the whole drama, so he'll probably deal with this situation in a similar manner.
Yi Seo is one of the best female leads in a long time. This woman is so freaking amazing and I love her character. She deserves all the happiness and success. I'm glad SRY finally realized certain things, it was long overdue. I also like how DanBam crew helped him to do it lol However, they had to ruin it all with that ending ugh... I can't wait to see the next episode, it'll be amazing!
Thank you Yi Seo! Soo Ah doesn't care about anyone except herself. I've been saying this since the second episode. She is an awful person who, even after 4 years, still hasn't changed or evolved. I can only imagine the drama she'll cause after SRY realizes how she is. She looks more and more worried which makes me happy :)
Hopefully CEO Jang doesn't get such a light punishment and will suffer a bit more. I want to see him beg on his knees.
DanBan crew looking so fashionable is a strange sight lol They look great, but I need to get used to it. Yi Seo is beautiful, I like her "transformation". I can't wait for tomorrow's episode!
"Do you want to sleep together?", "Did you get hit in the head?", "There might even be a dessert!" and the last, but most definitely not least, "cream party" lmao
Takeru was handsome during the whole drama, but when he was worried about her and listed the things he loves about her, he became ten times more attractive.
Also, wouldn't they have to shave her head if she had epidural hematoma?
Same, I was kinda upset and heartbroken at the end. A show I would recommend would be Love Catcher if you haven’t…
I've watched that one as well lol I'm really into such shows, so I watch all of them. (Btw I don't know if you're aware of it, but there's also a Chinese version of Heart Signal.) I wish they would make new dating shows because whenever one becomes as popular as Heart Signal, I feel like many people go there to get attention/promote their business/become famous. It makes it less interesting for me.
I agree with you Japan has a very low birth rate so their government is worried. As a result they have policies…
Thank you for the information. I wasn't aware of some of the things you've mentioned. Do you maybe know what happens if a woman, who lives in Japan, gets pregnant as a consequence of sexual assault, if she doesn't know who the father is or she isn't able to contact him, but wants an abortion?
That preview though!! Yi Seo looks so beautiful. I just hope she didn't do it to look like Soo Ah. That would suck because she doesn't need to do it. I can't wait until Friday!
Yi Seo too good for SRY , she is strong , honest and smart and never pretend
I'm just going off of what has happened so far. If he becomes a bad guy in the next episode, obviously I wouldn't want them to be together. Also, he shouldn't have done that, but it was a mistake. It doesn't take away the good things he has done for her or that he cares about her.
Yi Seo too good for SRY , she is strong , honest and smart and never pretend
I'm giving him the benefit of doubt because I'm trying to look at it from his point of view. He has worked for years to revenge his dad and that's what he's focusing on the most. Due to that, I would say he's failing to realize what's going on around him. He cares about Yi Seo, but I don't think he allows himself to explore it more, so he goes back to his safe spot, Soo Ah. He keeps her around and is ok with everything she does and says. In my opinion, he doesn't have enough time or mental/emotional strength to deal with relationship stuff. That's why I'm still not totally against him being with Yi Seo. However, he needs to start paying attention. If not, Yi Seo should think about Geun Soo.
My girl Yi Seo is strong and intelligent. Although this sucks right now, I'm sure she'll be ok. I'm rooting for her because she means well and she does her best to help when she cares about someone. It's rare to find such people. I disagree with comments that are depicting her in a negative light. I prefer blunt and honest people like her instead of those who pretend. She's young and still has a lot to learn. It's ok to make certain mistakes as long as you realize it and learn from it. Plus, she obviously has some mental problems that play a part in who she is.
What Soo Ah asked SRY to do in the preview just gives me another reason to think she's not the one for him. I hope they don't end up together.
