I've seen season 1 and 2, so I'll definitely watch this one as well. However, I've learned my lesson and I won't be as invested anymore. Season 2 made me so upset at the end, so I'll just watch this with that in mind. I'm excited though, can't wait for it to start!
I love the way they show relationships in this drama. The way his mom cares for him and worries about him is so realistic. Everything is portrayed in a very relatable way. Friendships between those in the book club are also heartwarming. There are people of all ages, but everyone gets along and no one is being left out for some reason. Their personalities are pretty different, but it's not an obstacle for them to maintain close relationships with each other. That acceptance is nice to see.
Hae Won's small step forward when she saw Eun Sub coming down the mountain was very symbolic to me. She's slowly opening up and her interest is showing. (I enjoy her jealous moments lol) I also like how she dealt with Bo Young. I think people who make such a big "mistake" shouldn't be the ones making the decisions on how the situation will be resolved, but respect what the other person wants. Her being surprised as to why Hae Won is still mad means she doesn't even deserve to be forgiven, in my opinion. It's hard when you're introverted and guarded to open up to others only for your trust to be betrayed.
Next episode will be interesting based on the preview. I like seeing Hae Won relaxed, so hopefully this won't slow her down on the path towards happiness.
I love his approach towards her. On the outside he's trying to be calm and collected, but on the inside there's a storm of emotions. He didn't ask her about it, he wasn't being invasive, he gave her space and waited for her to mention it. He always thinks about his actions first and is able to control himself although you can see how happy and excited he gets over a simple message or how relieved he was when she decided to stay.
Throwback scenes in the school were heartbreaking. I wish schools all over the world would protect kids more and better...
Hwi is adorable! Scenes of her singing Let It Go and secretly looking at her crush were funny and I really needed them. It also made me think about how ridiculous it is that the temperatures are so low, but girls are still wearing skirts.
Tbh i hope they don’t end up together even though they have great chemistry. Them having an affair makes me…
Yeah, I know... I just really like when chemistry isn't only sexual and you can see the connection beyond it which is rare in dramas I've seen and they're doing a great job with it in this one. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do with their situation.
I hate cheaters, but I really ship them together. Since this is only a drama, I'll just be happy about it while it lasts because knowing Japanese dramas, they probably won't end up together... I can't wait for the 7th episode to be subbed, it looks really interesting!
That episode was so cringey! From hospital scene to acting of supporting cast especially the Grandmother. Damn!…
I'll still watch it because if I were to drop dramas due to the inaccuracies, I wouldn't have finished watching 90% of those I've seen so far lol It's just that certain topics annoy me more than others and I hate when misinformation is spread around.
I've just watched the first episode. I like it. It's quite interesting and after watching Crocodile and Plover Bird, I'm really into Chinese dramas filmed abroad. Leads seem to have pretty good chemistry and I'm a Zhang Zhe Han fan which helps. The only thing I dislike is Riley being a second ML. I prefer watching him when he's the actual lead actor. His scene with the FL was cute, so I hope I won't have a hard time getting used to them not being together...
As someone who supports the decisions women make about their own bodies, I felt kind of uncomfortable with the hospital scene. It might just be me, but the way doctor acted seemed like he was trying to tell her not to do it. I've heard about such stories and it always annoyed me. I could be wrong though, so... I won't even mention how medically/biologically inaccurate it is that a fetus (embryo at that point) can hear your voice at 4 weeks. I really hope doctors in real life don't say such nonsense to their patients...
I wonder what she would have to do or say for him to stop. It would've been funny if she continued to dislike him and ended up marrying someone else. I would love to see him try to ruin her wedding day lol
"Brad Pitt and DiCaprio of cardiology" Sakura: I'll take that as a compliment. Tendo: It's not. LOL This episode had so many funny moments. Seeing jealous Tendo (btw he looked so hot in the amusement park scene) is always great! His jealousy even got to the next level. Next episode will be interesting it seems. Hopefully Sakura won't make another nonsensical decision...
I've just watched the first episode and loved it. I really enjoy dramas and movies in which actors are able to stay quiet, but still make you feel things and understand what they're going through. I think we'll get a lot of that in this drama and it only proves how the leads are good actors. Humorous scenes are a nice break in between those "silent" ones. To me it's like a Korean version of a Japanese drama. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm not sure if I want to wait until it ends or if I'm going to watch the second episode right after posting this. Probably the latter since I want more :)
Conversation between Eun Jae and Kim Sa Bu was so beautiful. I really like how he cares about everyone at Doldam. Poor Dr. Yoon and Dr. Bae, just sitting there while Eun Jae and Woo Jin are voicing out their frustration lol I'm glad we've seen jealous and sad Woo Jin, it shows how much he cares about her. Their sweet moments in this episode were adorable (I won't even mention the kiss lol)! Them finally being a couple is strange to see, although we've been slowly getting there, it seems so sudden. Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop should act in another drama, their chemistry is amazing.
Anyways, this was a great drama. I wish there were more episodes, but hopefully they'll make a third season. It would be amazing if the cast is the same as this season. I'm sad it's over, so I might rewatch it soon!
OMG We got what we've been asking for this whole season and I have no idea what to do right now!!! Wow thank you for not giving us just hand holding in the last episode lol Now I have to wait for the subs...
I'm not sure I how I feel about his drama right now. It's great, but there's only one episode left and way too much stuff needs to be resolved. Usually I'm happy when dramas aren't longer than 16 episodes, but this one would benefit from having 18 or 20. Anyways, I hope for at least one more kiss scene between Eun Jae and Woo Jin. If not that, then literally anything physical lol I'll be happy to see them hold hands, just give us something please!
I've seen 5 episodes so far and it's amazing. Very different to what I usually watch and I love it. It keeps my attention the whole time. Characters and stories are really interesting and actors are doing a great job. Nonaka is extremely annoying though, he's the only thing I would remove from this drama. Hopefully he won't cause some problem for FL...
However, I've learned my lesson and I won't be as invested anymore. Season 2 made me so upset at the end, so I'll just watch this with that in mind.
