This is one of those dramas which I'll finish only because of how much I've seen already. I keep thinking and hoping it'll get better and it never does. Maybe once they get together the romance part saves it a bit. You can only do slow burn if plot, script and actors are good. I like CXX and I'm sure he did the best he could with what he was given, so I feel bad for him. It also looks like a low budget drama and production isn't good. I'll become a master at fast forwarding by the time this ends.
I was never more happy watching a dating show simply due to the moment in which all the women were calling GH out. They always have such man in dating shows, but women never share the information so they rarely get called out. All the ones he interacted with said it to his face as well which was amazing. HS's talk with him in the end made me so proud of her. She always gave him space, but she knows her worth. I hope she never gets hurt to the point she stops being like that. As per usual, funny moments were more interesting than the actual dating plot. JS and HJ were hilarious. I hope they both find partners who genuinely appreciate them.
This is such a rewatchable drama. Everything was so beautiful about it. Next time I get sucker-punched by a sad ending, I'll be coming back to this to make me feel better. I hope leads work together again. Their chemistry has been amazing since the beginning.
I'm the biggest fan of strong female characters, but not if they're hypocritical. She keeps leading him on, never directly answers his questions, get jealous when he interacts with another woman (he even explains their relationship to her) , but is constantly around her ex and even has dinners with him and her parents. He deserves so much better and all the chemistry is totally wasted when you write such disappointing FL. It's hard to root for them when he keeps getting treated like someone dispensable...
I do appreciate FL's talk about period and how they pointed out that no matter what clothes you wear, you shouldn't be harassed and it's not your fault if it happens. It's nice to see such messages in dramas.
At first I thought she might be a bit obsessive, but it wasn't that big of an issue until I saw the photo wall. That was creepy. I hope she gets a bit more rational in future episodes (I've only seen 2 so far). I do think it'll be quite fun once he starts liking her back though.
I finally got around watching it and I've enjoyed it more than I expected. I assume it's because I decided to skip a lot of moments lol I'm so happy for Yi Soo. She's such an attractive woman, physically and in terms of personality. I'm glad that she got who she wanted and hope they'll be happy together!
I have yet to start watching, but does she only carry the gene or does she actually have the disease? And if she does have it, does she die in the novel? I guess this will be another drama I'll have to wait to end to start watching because I don't want a sad ending...

Your profession doesn't matter. Once you decide to have a child, that's your priority. You're supposed to do your best to raise them and give them what they need to become a healthy person. You won't be able to do so if you're away. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not imposing my views on anyone, I'm sharing my opinion just like you are. Also, just because something is a part of tradition or culture, it doesn't make it right. You wouldn't have to be sacrificing yourself for your family if you didn't start one (this obviously excludes your parents/grandparents/siblings). Your spouse and children need you around, just money has never been enough. This isn't my opinion, this is something family therapists, psychiatrists etc will tell you. Your child needs you to be present. People say they're willing to do something out of love they feel for the other person. Many times you think you can handle something, but people change, new problems arise, and you end up not being able to handle it anymore. Again, if you truly love your wife, why would you make her do all of that alone even if she says she would?
People who think all of this is ok just because "millions of people are doing it" should look at the mental health crisis (especially among children and teens) and divorce rates. Learn from the mistakes of your elders and people around you. That's what people who want to be successful do.

In my opinion, every single person who's unable to be in their child's life (in terms of raising them, presence, being emotionally supportive etc) should not have one. It is incredibly selfish to do such thing. When it comes to marriage, they should get married to someone with equally demanding job. I think it would be unfair to expect your spouse to constantly wait for you and do everything on their own even if they at first say they're willing to do so. At some point it'll become to much. Why would you even want to put someone through that if you love them?
It's interesting how in many dramas leads have a lot more scenes together yet their conversations often seem quite superficial and you're not sure why they're so in love while it's total opposite here. They discuss their issues, friends, jobs etc. It's a pretty realistic portrayal of a relationship. I also like how much the FL is into the ML, she never seems to be uncomfortable with him or physical affection.
I disagree with the ML when it comes to Yu and his wife. He definitely is wrong and did wrong things. Breaking promises, having a child, but barely being there for them during their formative years, leaving your wife alone to deal with pretty much everything (even if she said she would support his career) isn't ok.
