does this have a lot of romance? i'm interested to watch this but i want my shows to focus also on romance a lot…
Ah, if that's what you're looking for, watching this right now might not be the right choice. Here, there is a slow, solid, deep relationship depiction that is elaborated between all the events and pains that have happened. It is more of the kind that is read from actions, between the lines and from the eyes. (Like a breath of fresh air and a fun puzzle for many of us) It's not the place for fast, eye-catching or fluffy stuff. But it has the strong ML/FL couple, healthiest relationship and best written ML that most of us have ever seen. Even many people who love the full romantic stuff have fallen under the influence of this mature and deep relationship without realizing it, but I still don't know if it works for everyone. I answered this way because you asked about this angle. Otherwise, I have too many words to say in all other respects, but I don't want to bore you by telling you what you didn't ask :D
E49. The tree-trunk-under-the-moonlight scene. I just re-watched it for the umpteen times. Noticed some interesting…
ah yes yes!! How we are the same :D I agree with what you said about Khan and about this, I mean about the reason for Khan's attitude, someone here has put forward a very logical analysis and theory before. Wait a little while I'll find that conversation and link you to it. So I might not be able to explain it the way she did. You'll probably enjoy reading it. By the way, I wonder if we have more in common.. are you also a fan of martial arts here or in general? Because I can talk about that without getting bored :D and If you love too I will be happy about it XD

Oh I'm exactly the same. How can I forget Sun and Sheer. As Khatun's right arm fill him against Sun.. I hated it. And about Khan. I definitely valued the two's relationship from the beginning, no matter what he did. He was a man who loved his son in his own way. And as you said, I was terrified that he would die, thinking he was dead or before he saw him for the last time. I have a weakness for siblings , close friends like siblings and family relationships. I prefer these relationships to those between the lead couple sometimes... That girl may perish, and they may perpetuate this beautiful fraternity. So when these misunderstandings are with these, it can hurt me a lot more. As with Sheer and Khan.
Something that I find really interesting about Chang Ge's and A'Sun's character is the way that they both approach…
Yes. Absolutely.. In fact, Sun tends to be a man who follows his heart, with his character probably also inspired by the manga. But there were reasons that prevented him from showing his love to all the other people he loved. The person he valued most in life was his mother, and he could not even show this value to her. However, he can watch her from afar to avoid harm. When the reason between him and her disappears and he takes her lifeless body in his arms, he will not stop himself from crying and screaming as a little boy who lost his mother even though there was a Tegin in front of the men there. He has men he considers like his brothers, but ultimately he is their leader and must establish authority. There has to be a certain seriousness. He values his father. But since his father is a Khan and for other reasons we know, there will be tension hanging over them. But when he has to make a choice, he doesn't even consider turning his back on him as a possibility and he makes it clear that he will never do that, just as he says he is grateful to him for the good. His best friend is Mujin. You can see how clearly he showed the value he gave him from his words and actions when he was on his deathbed. In other words, he does not hesitate to express his love and affection in people and moments that he can show. And CG. There are no visible and invisible veils between them like standing between him and all the other people he loves. He admired her. And while everyone thought she was a man, he didn't hesitate to show his admiration for him in some way, for he had no reason to hesitate. But just he couldn't be too obvious because he didn't want to reveal her identity. The only place where he instantly reversed his attention was in parts where he treated CG hard to keep her alive. Because here's another hurdle. If he shows her his love and concern, it will hurt her even more. Otherwise, he wouldn't have stopped trying to comfort her. Compared to all the other people in his life, she is the one person he is not limited to in showing his love and attention. He is a man who lives to protect his loved ones. It was his mother at first, then became CG. And it will never be a shame for him to admit his feelings unless something is preventing him. Because if he hesitated to express that he values something to which he will dedicate his life, it would be contrary to his proud and nature that knows what he want, and he would be doing himself an injustice. He is wary of people because of his many experiences and difficulties. Like you said, he won't accept anyone easily. But when he finds someone worth it, he won't stop hold on to her/im. Just as in CG and his brotherhood with LJ, whom he thought was worthy of his friendship.

Yes absulately right. And as a matter of fact, in what I've watched so far, I'm not worried about any of the bad guys' plans if I'm sure there won't be any misunderstandings or unnecessary accusations between the characters. I get mad at those villians, but eventually these two will find a way to beat them together. The only thing that worries me about the plans and actions of the villains is the possibility of introducing misunderstandings between the main characters. Because that's what makes everything unbearable. Here too, since there is a union of forces between the main characters, the thing that worried and annoyed me the most among Khatun's actions was the parts where she made Sun misunderstand his father. They will completely destroy an already painful and hard relationship!! If the two characters can become one, they will have each other and stand up together, even if they suffer the most severe tortures or emotional breakdowns. But if you make these two mistrust each other in the worst possible way and they distance themselves for reasons that aren't even there, that's the most unbearable to watch. Probably one of the things I hate most in real life is to be misunderstend or misunderstood, I feel this annoys very intensely in the things I watch.
Well this is totally off topic, sorry for that but after Wuxia's name accident adventure, I just wanted to share…
When I signed up, I was planning to just write down a few things I wanted to say and walk away. That's why I didn't care too much about my account. I couldn't think of anything to write to display name. In the end, I said myself 'I'm just someone like everyone, write like that, don't think too much,' and wrote 'Biri'. In my language 'Biri' means 'Someone' :) But I think another 'someone' from my realm who lost their ability to think at that 'writing name' moment could not find a name to write like me and used it. So the system pushed back the only rare name I could think of. XD What will this poor fellow do now! In the end it forced me to double down on the same word to get that name. (I mean, even at this stage, I can't think of a better one. I'll write this down at the expense of reduplicate that. X)) A completely meaningless name. XD It's just that every time you reply to my comments and say 'yes Biri... definitely Biri.. well said Biri Biri' it brings a smile to my face and makes me laugh. XD Because it reminds me of this meaningless naming adventure every time and I read it as 'Yes Someone .. That Someone Someone' in my language XD So in the end, I am just a 'someone'. I can never forget who I am :D I also wonder what impression you make of 'Biri'. It probably sounds like a completely made-up and meaningless nick. XD

Haha XD I have to praise you more then. :) Because I actually think you express it well most of the time. When you make a comment and I reply with words that start with 'oh you're absolutely right.. yes exactly like that..' and then write dozens of sentences supporting that idea... those beginnings are another way of saying that you expressed the event well. :)) So don't be unfair to yourself. You are always good :D We all have our own words and methods to explain things. And each has different strong points. What is weak in one will be strong in the other. So, for example, maybe analysis is the strongest for me, while emotion and integrity will be strong for you. You cannot see one as superior to the other. All valuable and necessary. :) I'm just saying what I feel, otherwise I'm not in a position to scrutinize and give points anyone. I'm just a someone XD
And in fact, the story here was so prone to the threads of misunderstanding and hatred that all those screenwriters…
In terms of CG, this took some time. All those things we were mad at her for because she was still at the beginning. While She put conditions like 'You will not do anything to harm Tang' in the part where she talked to AS... I was angry that she forced AS to make such a condition for all the reasons I mentioned above. Because it was a style that ignored his position and responsibilities. But as I said, over time she saw what she should not impose on him. In the events that followed, she came up with different solutions when he did not accept the option of turning his back on his tribe... Anyway, since I talked a lot and strayed a bit, I won't be able to link them.. Just some thoughts XD
And in fact, the story here was so prone to the threads of misunderstanding and hatred that all those screenwriters…
But all this is difficult. To realize this, to understand, to accept it, to change your perspective, to look at events and people from a fair window. And accepting AS. as well as someone you want to spend her life with. In terms of AS, the situation is not much different. When he finds out that she is the princess of the enemy country and then that she is the strategist who defeated them many times, when she insists on what she's going to do despite being stabbed for her, when CG somehow leads the events that led to the death of his mother... there is too much material to distance the two from each other, to put the distance between them. Here this is where it comes in what we call maturity. To be able to evaluate the situation, conditions, obligations, responsibilities and position of the other person and to act fairly. And as a result of all these, meeting on the common ground between them. These two, who faced each other for their own interests and duties, joined their hearts and forces as two people who wanted peace. That's what a mature couple would do. And the reason why we don't get bogged down with endless misunderstanding and clichés 'we can't be together' is the maturity these characters have.
And in fact, the story here was so prone to the threads of misunderstanding and hatred that all those screenwriters…
We got angry with CG many times for trusting and responding to AS too late. However, after all she's been through, let's appreciate her effort that a girl of this character made to become Sun's military adviser rather than to assassinate him one night after she went to the grassland, and to trying to protect all division rather than set them all on fire.. Through these two characters we see that we cannot look at events and people as 'White, let's get! Black, let's throw'. Along the way, CG understood that those they saw as enemies were no different from themselves, and that war hurts everyone, and turned into someone who strives for everyone's peace.
I thought about how they didn't drag misunderstandings or hate things here.
And in fact, the story here was so prone to the threads of misunderstanding and hatred that all those screenwriters admired... if there was someone to do this, this screenwriter could do it without even having to shake his pen too hard. Here we have a couple that would normally be very difficult to come together in terms of circumstances and position. After all the destruction she's been through, discovery of Sun's identity as the final devastation was enough to make her hate him, stay away, and hostile dozens of episodes in a normal drama. And it's not just because she misunderstood him. Even after MJ had explained AS's intentions to her, you could expect CG to maintain her stance because AS is the enemy general after all. He was a man that CG could easily blame for all the devastation she'd lived before (the battle of Shouzo, the deaths of Gongsun Heng and A'dou etc.). Indeed, the events were not simple and easy at all. In fact, what they do in the Shouzo arc and afterwards surprises me so much. I'm not sure if I can express this, but everything created there is like the complex situations and stalemates that would be experienced in a real war. AS tries to keep CG out of harm's way on the one hand, but he cannot hold back from fulfilling his tribe's ambitions over Shouzo and , if necessary, stopping her with an arrow. You couldn't expect that from him. What Gongsun Heng did, people trying to lynch CG afterwards... There was a crew who got angry with AS for condoning and not preventing this. Do they really know anything about the reality of wars? Life is not rosy. Even if AS had come and cut that head off himself, you wouldn't have been able to say 'oh what a bad character, how can ML be like this'. You have to read the terms. This is a war. Anyway, Gongsun Heng went this route because he knew that there was no other solution to settle this situation, especially in a war that took place at that time, you can't resolve it diplomatically. A warrior army can only be appeased with the head or blood of its enemies. AS had done the best he could as a man of conscience and provided an opportunity to defend his life purpose while dying to his enemy, whom he saw as an honorable rival. But still, all this realistic portrayal is a risk because most viewers will not evaluate these conditions, obligations, goals that both sides have their own and will become aggressive. And it was very possible that CG did that too.
Yes I understand you. I wrote a few things just hoping you to maybe say goodbye to those annoying feelings, but it's not easy with analysis mode active. There are places where I agree that she's obviously an event drag character. Because almost all of the main characters are aware that she is in this type of situation. If only she had openly told CG-AS about this and asked for help, rather than being a toy in Khatun's hands, if we had a Buzhan rescue operation and had seen things that because of Mimi in different ways . I mean, everyone knows or suspects something, but this girl is still stuck in the middle. So even though they knew what this could do to them, CG and AS continued to ignore it. In my opinion, this is not a 'I trust my friend' issue. Just go over what you suspect about her so she doesn't have to do things she doesn't want to do. I just watched 45 and the last thing she did there was reveal CG's identity, so the alliance is in danger... Can't Mimi's incident solved much more easily before and could not be this development in someone else's speak? Like the child AS killed before. He almost caused this type of conspiracy. It is not difficult to find such a character here. But did they keep using her because the concept of the girl in between would be more interesting? Oh i don't know.
(Did your feelings spread to me? XD cause it's not like that this pissed me off so much while watching... I guess it's because I was looking through your window while I was typing. :D)
Yes she did but her circumstances are not fair at all ... Now that she has disappeared from your sight, let's admit that everything was difficult for her and let all your annoys disappear with her :)

All those scenarios with endless knots of misunderstanding that can't be solved because the main characters are too lazy to make two sentences with each other... Just two minutes of explanation and everything will be fine, but it won't happen... otherwise what would they have left to drag the story along? What can I infer useful for myself from characters who are even incapable of speaking as a audience! XD So here, we can get out of all this and breathe a little. :)
