There was a video of MJ-SH and AS watching the scenes, commenting and laughing, and imitating the Great Khan. You've probably seen it. Even in such an environment, when that scene came, all three of them were locked onto the screen, their smiles faded, their eyes were filled with tears, and MJ couldn't help saying 'your acting was amazing here'.

I saved someone's comment here about it. I don't remember who she was but it helped me understand the situation:
"Well, he had a very good reason to kill him, and besides, he had no choice but to kill him. I'll try to explain as best I can.
First and foremost, he is not just any spy BUT a Khatun spy. At this point in the story, any Khatun spy, if caught alive, will act as a witness against Changge. He'll lie about being someone who works for Changge (as he did when the deal was first signed in Chang'an after khatun's ppl got caught). Remember that they now know Changge's true identity.
Second, it hurt CG. Asun was almost losing change because of him. At this point he was already very angry. If it wasn't for Changge, he would have killed the boy before he provoked it, which is the third reason. (Remember, Aun was the warlord of the Ashile tribe before she became Changge's man. She had killed many people in the war and will not hesitate to protect those dear to him.)

Third, he was trying to frame the CG (when shuyu came in, he started shouting for "help"). This reason depends on the first. At this point, Aun has no choice but to kill him to silence him. If Aun doesn't kill him, Changge will be in danger. If he is alive, Changge will be accused of trying to harm the eastern palace, given that his fake identity is now the crown prince's playmate. The boy will be a witness to testify against Changge) Although Shuyu was able to arrest Aun, when the boy died, Aun was able to place the blame on Khatun, claiming he was a spy placed by Khatun. If the child is alive, Aun's revealing her true identity still won't save Changge. Because he's a "victim", he can say anything, and what he's going to say can ruin even A .
Remember when Shuyu and the guards got there, they saw Aun riding the horse, so no matter what happens, Aun will be arrested because the guards also saw him."

yes!! but it takes skill to do it. Because most scenarios feed off of these evils and get a flow, albeit frustrating. It is not easy not to go all these ways but still make it watchable.

Yes, there were many of them at that time. The first times everything inspected thoroughly... But that's okay because there was a lot to capture the essence of everything even after you came :)

Yes it was you!! :D I'm also wondering if you had a process like the one I reply to Biao above? That's exactly what happened to me, and I was only able to fully realize WL's acting at that peak scene.

haha I feel you XD also in general, ML and FL types/personalities are very... same... :D I wonder if we'll see an Indian FL when it rains trying to get under a tarpaulin, instead of one who opens her arms and turns around struggling for "how can I get wet more" XD

If you'd been here the first time I wrote this and said that, maybe. But right now I'm too lazy for something like this :D and these disappointments don't piss me off as much as they did then XD

It's not fun to watch annoying characters. Giving a lot of lovable characters seems like a clever way for a screenwriter to me. It greatly increases the possibility of connecting to it much more and watching without fast-forward.

Yes. How he elevated himself from a hateful character to that position!! He could definitely be my favorite male character after AS.

Yeah yeah. That scene is something else. It's like we talked to you about that scene, right? When I was evaluating the MVs, I talked about it and you said that you were very impressed with that part too. Or was it someone else? The way he expresses the emotion there is definitely very unique.

You must have suffered a lot about this since you are from India, right! :D There is probably no one that feeds on misunderstandings as much as Indian dramas :') They play to Guinness about 'how long can a misunderstanding be prolonged' or 'how many misunderstandings can be strung together in a row' XDThey are unrivaled, and have unique ways to make tower of misunderstandings 😂

Yes. I absolutely agree with all of them. Those drags had already dampened my duel excitement. And the choreography in the first one was even more impressive. As you said, the most enjoyable part was the parts where they forced AS and he couldn't be persuaded with his 'nonsense' facial expression XD

haha. Right!!! This was one of my favorite things here or maybe favorite :D It would be a pity if you missed this angle :D
And one of the best things about it is that it's realistic. Rarely, there are some places where it is obvious that they are flying with ropes.. I can tolerate this much, but not more :D Because it is not a fantastic genre. So if it's a fantasy drama, it might not be too disturbing for supernatural characters anyway. But in a normal historical drama, the artificial things like flying in the fight scene are very noticeable. And in chinese dramas this is a lot. I have never come across such a realistic and impressive depiction in Asian dramas before.

You also see this long yellow chain, right? It was innocent back then, but it's too dangerous for share now 😱😜
(For a long time, I thought there was a certain character limit for comments here. Because when I pasted the long text I copied here, the upper parts of the text were not visible. I thought that I had exceeded the limit every time, and I was writing as much of the text I copied as it appeared in a comment and continuing the rest in response to it. That was the reason for the huge long chains in this and my other comments :D👽 Much later I discovered that there is no such thing 😅 And by that time I realized that I had been wasting my time dividing those comments into appropriate intervals 🥴 )
