A bright vachirawit doppelgänger , he’s full Chinese and 23years old
I was just wondering who he reminded me of, you're absolutely right! I think there's someone else too but i can't put my finger on it. I thought he was mixed ngl
I had 0 expectations but it wasn't too bad, the actors did a good job! I cannot get over the vertical format tho 🥲 (i watched it as a movie, the clips break the flow i wouldn’t be able to stand it)
I liked that they explored a bit of a darker theme (when I finally understood WHY PaRang started to fear diving it did hit me, ngl, for some reason I didn’t expect it), but I have 2 main issues: first of all, like all miniseries, there wasn't enough time to develop everything (like, what exactly was going on with TaeMin trauma? Why did he stop swimming just now?). Secondly, the end was too.. bright? Too suddenly? When someone suffers from depression so bad that they write a suicide note and actively attempt, it's a bit unrealistic that a one-time intervention would immediately fix all of it. As stupid as it sounds, what bothered me the most was the final internal monologue, read in a cheerful voice. I would have loved to see the process of PaRang slowly healing and the development of his relationship with both TaeMin and YuBin.
In short, it did exceed my non-existent expectations, but now I'm actually a bit mad cause I feel like they didn't use its full potential. Maybe they just had a low budget, but still. If they ever made it, I'd love watch a longer (horizontal) remake with the same actors, but more runtime (and some fixes on the script.. like many pointed out, the stool by the wall was a bit funny and definitely broke the tension).
So there's only like 10 of us watching this wonderful BL? Pity.
I just binge-watched the aired episodes, and it's really promising so far! For me personally, and it might sound dumb, what out me off at first was the title: I've seen so many dramas with "sea" and "love" in the title (plus generic covers) that I don’t pay attention to them anymore, they all blur into each other. Nowdays there are so many bls that i need to select what to watch, and I know that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but it happens anyways 😅 So i had very low expectations and wasnt really planning on watching this, but I'm quite invested now ngl The actors are great (and stunning my god), their chemistry is SO good, the fotography is pretty.. I really hope the rest of the episodes are gonna maintain that standard
That’s interesting. I don’t see any similarities other than that one saved the other during childhood. Or…
Do you think it'll end badly? 😭 It's too late for me, I'm invested already.. I'll probably keep watching it as it airs. I can let you know how it goes if you want ahah

I wrote the comment when i was half way through the first episode, and the similarities ended there lol What gave me the vibes was the the assassination attempt, Zi Ang's taking "hostage" Shu He (while wounded) and recognizing him under the moonlight.. It's been years since I've read The governor's ill, but that whole scene gave me flashbacks somehow. Also the poison thing, but it's another storyĺine so that was a stretch
I just started this, but am i the only one who's getting strong "The governor's ill" vibes? I had to check to make sure this drama wasn't an adaptation of that novel ahah
Ahhh this definitely needed more episodes!! I love the premisi (w fake dating trope), their chemistry is great, the dance scene?? BEAUTIFUL. It's a pity they didn't have the time to develop it more! I would have DEVOURED a full drama ver.
I'd love to see these two in other projects together!!
Start rant. One of the things that most (not all) BL’s do that I hate: making it seem that anal sex is supposed…
And it especially shouldn't hurt after 2 days!! If it does, something really wrong happened and it should probably get checked out.. I really dislike thistrope too, but it "makes sense" considering the original novel was written by JiDan. I didn't reach this part in the book yet, but ive read other works of her and.. let's just say, not the "safest" scenes ;-; (and yeah, I'm referring to THAT chapter of Addicted)
This has gotten out of hand. Why are fans so crazy. A flight Tian Xuning was on, I don't understand how they get…
That's worse than I thought, omg.. The plane staff was literally pushing back with all they had and still failed to keep back the "fans". People are really shameless. Poor TXN ;-;
