I'm sorry but in what way did she drag ML down in those 10 years? Like what she said when they broke up, they…
I wonder what your take is now on this drama and "development" after its finished.
I agree with the point of this drama is likely to unveil the character's development, burdens, and show how humans deal with things, grow, and the path there is not always perfect.
I feel like I saw this ending coming just based on how things were set up. In the end, she hasn't really fixed her issues and ML/FL still ambiguous. I don't think either character developed at all either.
Alas, in the end of the "arc"/show, I still don't think the story, the characters, "growth". I personally didn't see any growth or accountability. Just two people who aren't mature and know how to deal with things. Only thing I enjoyed was the first two episodes where I saw potential for growth and it the cinematography was good.

I meant it as a separate issue not relating to the 10 years. I’m saying she is dragging him down now - because she is still lost after 10 years. I was more understanding of their break up and hurting ML because she is young and needs time on her own. But taking your time, “running” from your unresolved issues isn’t growth or character development. And at the same time she is just involving ML into her problems.
Which makes sense because this is a drama and there has to be a problem. I just think this problem shows how little growth she has had so far. I hope it turns out better, although not sure if they deserve it.
I like the cinematography and quality of the drama. There are lots of cute moments which are wholesome etc.
However the characterization and development is not there.
Make it make sense when the FL “breaks up” over the phone claiming she needs to chase her life goals and be independent. Yet we find out she’s still lost 10 years later, dragging the ML down, and was still very dependent on another man (SML aka groomer diddy) for her career (which also isolated her from her family and ML). SML a very clever snake. Now he’s still snaking his way back into her life.
I understand that characters can be complex, but FL is just a red flag that’s taking advantage of how much ML is devoted to her. Leaning on him when it’s convenient and tossing him aside when it’s not. We see this in the past, the present, and in the next episode teasers. I pray it gets better.
I don’t get the hate for SML- that was a pretty mature breakup. He also refused for her to do it over the phone…
Maybe cuz sml basically groomed her while she was in high school, isolated her from her support system and became the one person she could rely on during her hotel work.
First 2 episodes are heartwarming and comforting. Episode 3 teasers bringing in the drama … not good for my heart… wanted something more calm 😔 hopefully we don't see a love triangle with the hotel guy.
Cinematography is very nice. Music is nice too. Kind of feeling Your Name vibes with the constant train scenes and dodging each other.

I wanted a nice drama that explored family dynamics and raising a kid but instead its a love triangle. the kid doesn't even matter.
He is so obsessed with jaeyi - is crushing on her when he is supposed to be her brother.
And the whole time he still pretending to be her lost brother even when he is not.
And when he has power or a chance to step in to help he does not.
And then somehow the show still glazes him when he does the bare minimum while lying to everyone.
Like he has made no sacrifices that jeopardizes his position for others it just pmo how everyone forgives him and overlooks that.
