Great article. Thank you. You'll also see this trope in a lot of romance novels. I like this kind of concept. Seeing the a-hole change to the man who finds he needs the woman he has tormented because he is in love with her. And I especially like it if she makes him pay for being a jerk!

I know, this drama is awesome! Fast paced, edge of the seat, hold your breath, what will happen next? Drama. I am so enjoying it and look forward to the last two episodes impatiently and with apprehension... Thank you for the article

A lot of Chinese dramas are based on novels: Bu Bu Jing Xin: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/bu-bu-jing-xin/…
Thank you for the information. I really enjoyed the dramas, Scarlet Heart/Bu Bu Jing Xin, 1 and 2. It would be interesting to see how closely the dramas follow the novel.

Thank you for your article. I love it when a drama or movie is based on one of my favorite books. However, the movie or drama interpretation sometimes and to my utter frustration, has no resemblance at all to the book it was supposedly based on...

I'm enjoying the show. It's obviously a piece of fiction. I enjoy raging against Soo Hyun and know that ultimately He will be caught and hurt by his own trap... At least I hope so. I often want to slap him silly. Hye Rim is smart, she will eventually turn the tables... can't wait to see what she does to him... LOL - Thanks for the article!

I think wanting the fairy tale is part of the female DNA. I remember at one point I threw out all my romance books because the fantasy Mr Perfect, doesn't exist in the real world. The author made him up, may be because he was the type of man she wanted to find in the real world? My tantrum didn't last long. So what's wrong with fantasy, as long as you know the difference, enjoy it! I love my books and dramas, the authors, writers and actors have so much to give you. Visit time periods inadvertently learning about things you slept through in class. Fashion, food, customs, languages and may be even improve on your own vocabulary (books will do that for you). Enjoy the mystery, try to guess who done it? Get angry and hate the antagonist (I love to think of blood thirsty ways to get even).. Then enjoy the laughter, the sorrow, the regret and yes the LOVE. And when you go back to the real world carry some of those beautiful feelings with you. We all want to be loved and start with loving yourself. Be honest with yourself, be who you are. If someone is going to love you, it has to be for who you really are. Hopefully the one who will love you will also be your best friend as when the passion dies, the friendship, the closeness, the love will remain...

I first started watching Asian dramas in 2010 and my first drama was Nodame Cantabile followed by the Japanese 1996, Taiwanese and Korean versions of It Started With a Kiss. Discovering the Asian dramas, was discovering a whole new world. I tried to share this find with my friends but they just don't get it... Well it's their loss...

Thank you for your article. You are way more critical than I am. LOL. The plot was obvious in that the dead Kim Hye Jin would turn out to be So Yoon's sister; however, the rest remains in mystery, The whole town is full of secrets... I am thoroughly enjoying this drama and looking forward to it's revealing it's secrets... :)

Thanks for the article! Looking forward to the combo of So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah in Oh My Venus and am curious about Madame Antoine. Just gotta see Imaginary Cat :)... Ever since his part in I Can Hear Your Voice, I don't know if I want to find out what kind of bad guy Jung Woong In will be portraying in Sweet Family!?

Bridal Mask had non-stop action and just phenomenal acting by the two male leads. Healer was Great! Totally fell in love with Ji Chang Wook... Lots of action, sweet romance, loved the story line and how it all came together in the end. Loved Kim Mi Kyung in this drama as well. Really an enjoyable drama.
