I love 90s Hong Kong actors like Louis Koo, Carmen Lee, and Felix Wong, so I rate today's Chinese dramas against a higher standard. I have watched numerous Mainland Chinese dramas over the past couple of years. Yet, none of them have ever mesmerized or enchanted me to great interest. They are not rewatchable, memorable, or impactful. 

I'm not a fan, stan, or celebrity chaser; as someone who relentlessly loves anime, donghua, manga/manhua, I don't hold high standards toward human actors — I'm just here for the storytelling and entertainment.

I only leave a review if the drama or film has made a significant impression.
