I've always enjoyed 90s Hong Kong actors like Louis Koo, Carmen Lee, and Felix Wong, so I tend to compare today's Chinese dramas to those classics. Over the past couple of years, I've watched quite a few Mainland Chinese dramas. While I have found a few that have captivated me in the same way, I'm always open to discovering something that resonates. Whether it is long-form or short-form content, I think each has its own storytelling style and can tell the story well.
I'm not a die-hard fan or celebrity follower; as someone who really enjoys anime, donghua, and manga/manhua, I don't expect perfection from live-action actors—I'm mostly here for engaging stories and entertainment.
I tend to share my thoughts when a drama or film leaves a strong impression on me, or when it offers meaningful lessons or insights that inspire me to write.
