Too little time for too much story
It’s not a revolutionary series, the kissing scenes are quite weak, the direction sometimes loses its way, and the editing is somewhat confusing.
It’s not quite bad and it has some very interesting scenes. I like the characters, the plot has potential but the problem is they try to tell two stories when there is barely enough time to tell one.
It’s a script that desperately needed an editor. For a 15-minute series, there’s no way to cover their school days and the misunderstanding between them in the present. And on top of that, you have the lawyer's plans, the family traumas, the past disagreement and it just piles up an unnecessary amount of plots.
The series needed to focus on one story and execute it to perfection. And for a moment, it almost gets there.
But something is missing. Their chemistry is good but their romance lacks build-up. The story is interesting but predictable. All the dramas are resolved easily and without any consequences.
And in the end, the show talks a lot, but nothing really matters.
