This looks like a Korean remake of "The Wedding Date" where they swapped the guy with a girl. We cal already see that PMY character will end up with GKP.

I love Minyoung so much but I do really wish that she'll take up more different and challenging roles. Her last three dramas were not great. (I dropped the Weather drama). And while she is so so pretty, I feel like she should stop fixing her face every year. Now she is getting unrecognizable.

I am pro-plastic surgery and I really do not mind if she is more comfortable doing PS a lot. However, her sweet look is fleeting now. I am worried. No disrespect to her though. I will watch this drama anyway.

Well, do not worry. Because by episode 8 you will see differences to his expressions and by episode 10 you will realise why. And from there onward you will see a whole lot of emotions on his face.

I am talking from experience since I too like you did not find his acting good at first, thinking he doesn't portray emotions well. But, I realised he is actually controlling his face muscles not to show much emotions (which is extremely difficult to do) and subtly acts with his eyes and voice tones at first. This is to showcase the drastic emotional change that is to occur later. He is a genius in that way.
And made me into a fan after that. Although, I still love the Female Lead, Seo Yeaji more.

I am not an actor but in my chosen job role, I actually do well. So, if she chose to act, she should do a better job that what she did. LOL

The writers thankfully limited her screen time to 2 mins per episode and she had no impact on the story despite her being casted as the Female Lead. I am thankful not to see her much.

I actually watched S1 keeping LJG in my head so I am ready to see him in S2.

Lee Joongi is a better actor than Song Joonki and much better in action scenes too. So, he will be a better fit.

I agree with you about her lack of emotions in Water God drama and Tree drama (both I dropped because I couldn't stand the acting) but nobody can deny that she is beautiful. I am a Kim Jiwon fan and I love my girl so much. Sad that she isn't going to be in S2. BUT, let's not criticize SSK unfairly. She's a very pretty girl and hopefully she will do a better job.

I watched Arthdal Chronicles season 1 when I heard Lee Joongi will be there for season 2. And I loved the story. I especially fell in love with Tanya and the way Kim Jiwon portrayed her, with a special charm. I am surely going to miss that. But, I am hoping Shin Sekyung will be able to capture the essence and play Tanya well too. I am really hoping there will be chemistry between her and Joongi, because that is essential to the plot.

As for Eunseom and Saya, I can already picture Joongi playing them even in season 1. As Lee Joongi is a very expressive actor, great with martial arts and action scenes, has an amazing voice, and even great looking with long hair, I think he is the perfect cast for Eunseom and Saya. So, I am pretty confident in him being in Arthdal universe.

Cannot wait to watch this drama and my only hope is SSK will step up to the challenge. I am willing to have faith in her too, given her Run On performance was good. Good luck cast! Waiting to see you all in 2023!

I really don't like Kim HeeA. She's very stiff and doesn't have a good chemistry with Heewoo. I kind of wonder why she is the main female lead when her story is uninteresting. The Grim Reaper has a better story line and very intriguing apart from Heewoo.

And Heewoo has more chemistry with Kim Hanmi than HeeA. Even Gyuri is a better candidate than HeeA.

Not sure if it's because the actress isn't that good too. But, the female lead frustrates me so much in this otherwise great drama.
