Funny and sweet (we need season 2)
Overall: This high school BL has a mixture of realistic, sweet, cringey and funny moments. I have not read the manga so I can't comment on similarities/differences there. Watched on Viki (My Love Mix-Up)Content Warnings: two slaps not between m/m, homophobia
What I Liked
- subverted tropes, surprising moments (I won't go into details and ruin things but I rarely get pleasantly surprised watching BL and I was when watching this)
- Ida being honest and considerate, thinking about things seriously
- the look on the high schoolers faces when the military guy talks to them is priceless and universal
- supportive friends on both Ida's and Aoki's side, also that Ida's friends weren't stupid
- communication (yes there was also miscommunication, but there were several instances of good communication)
- characters apologizing for mistakes made
- I'm totally fine with the ending but we need a season 2 to see the continuation
- even some really minor side characters were fun to watch
Room For Improvement
- (neutral) Aoki is very energetic/exaggerated which I've noticed in quite a few manga adaptations, luckily the other protagonist is chill so it balances it out. Aoki does have some pretty funny moments.
- the slaps were not needed
- "gay for you" adjacent
- that first volleyball teacher side plot, though I was happy how he handled it
- I almost vomited when that tutor/student teacher asked things those invasive personal questions, no teacher is asking their student those questions

Tide of Grunts (hope the actors get a better script next time)
Overall: I didn't expect them to do a safe, sane, consensual BDSM series (which would be amazing to finally see), but I was hoping to at least be entertained (I wasn't). 10 episodes about 10 minutes each. Airred on the app Shortime (my invite link is https://playground.shortime.app/en/invite/NKNIWI - the code is NKNIWI (those are all capital letters, that's the capital letter i) and it should get you a bonus); GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/5972/tide-of-love-2025 (not in Korea) and SEEKmeda for channel members https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwfmKArt9EtWOQm5LiWg9mKzvMpkpPCHe&si=ZRyYUHDRbQjrlHHh and iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/tide-of-love-episode-1-24f4ukbxh0g?lang=en_usWhat I Liked
- visuals
Room For Improvement
- started with a voice over exposition dump (continued voicing of inner thoughts)
- it wasn't enjoyable to watch 1 person being scared/reluctant in the "BDSM" scenes
- it made no sense in episode 2 that a character had plenty of money but continue when he doesn't seem to enjoy it, what was his motivation for staying? and then in episode 3 he was suddenly in love but disgusted during their NC scenes???
- I normally give indie productions a pass with editing/production value but SEEKMedia had extra time after they sold it to streaming platforms and needed to work on the editing which was terrible (sounds didn't match visuals, bad transitions, continuity errors like buttons that magically re-buttoned themselves)
- the grunting was bad (but almost so bad it was funny)
- did the writers not understand why BDSM can be sexy?, nearly waterboarding multiple times was not sexy, having a person write the other person's name multiple times was not sexy
- their kissing energy didn't match at all, one guy was sucking the other guy's face off whereas that guy didn't want to open his mouth or move any part of his face

a decent student project
Overall: I gave it a rating bump as I believe this was a student project - the intro says School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University. 10 episodes about 40 minutes each. Aired on Viu in Thailand.Content Warnings: past death, grief, bullying, homophobia, punches/slaps, cyberbullying
Watch Suggestions (for the cute side m/m couple)
- episode 3 watch 6:50-8:50
- episode 4 watch 21:10-22:20, 27:05-28:50, 39:45-40:55
- episode 5 watch 4:30-5:40, 8:10-9:30, 11:30-13:25
- episode 6 watch 13:15-15:20, 16:20-18:10
- episode 7 watch 22:20-25:15
- episode 8 watch 38:40-41:35
- episode 9 watch 33-39
- episode 10 watch 16-16:40
What I Liked
- that I couldn't predict the ending
- the side m/m couple (and decent character growth/a former bully romance I can support)
- supportive friends (minus 1*)
- caring moments
Room For Improvement
- voice over exposition dump to start
- *Love saw a character doing bad things and then told her friends that he was actually good?, she talks to one person in the group and suddenly everyone was okay?
- pacing could have been faster, characters refuse to say things just to pad out the episodes
- wannabe fiancee
- cliche involving a car in episode 9
- nonsense world building (couldn't touch people and then could in an extra scene, total nonsense in the final episode)
- the side couple had a lot of potential but was very underdeveloped (only had 40 seconds in the 40 minute final episode!)
- not even sure what that ending was (there is a post credit scene, see my spoiler comment)

I had no choice but to laugh
Overall: a very enjoyable comedy with some serious parts that provides a good contrast. I read the manga, but I'm rating this on its own, not how good of an adaptation I think it was. Watched on Gagaoolala.Content warnings: punches, slap, non con kiss (sleeping), manipulation, held against will
What I Liked
- the duality of Fukuhara, and that we learn more about his motivation thru childhood flashbacks
- the funny moments (I laughed out loud many times)
- the ending of the first episode which was a pleasant surprise
- how thoughtful and caring Shinomiya was
- Shinomiya's friends and Fukuhara's friends
- the breadcrumb of GL (but wish it was more overt)
- domestic bliss moments
- production value, including some very beautiful shots like the one in the final episode that also appears in the intro
Room For Improvement
- the counting thing in ep 3, ignoring when a person looks obviously uncomfortable
- a few things felt too serious/jarring - I wish the first punch had been a shove instead and the ending of episode 7 was not my thing
- that they went with the unwilling/nervous character, I wanted to Fukuhara to take some initiative
- the final episode had too many flashbacks/filler, also they tried to pass the beginning part off as comedy and that did not work for me as Fukuhara was understandably very upset during it
- disappointed that even after the professor talked about it there was a non con kiss
- too much blur, they looked like ghosts sometimes
- (neutral) Fukuhara has that kind of overacting comedy shtick that some viewers might not like, I've gotten used to it now and it doesn't bother me

sudden character shifts
Overall: note that this review and the series might be triggering regarding intimate partner abuse. My main issue was how multiple characters flip flopped and I couldn't trust them with one in particular who was abusive one minute and then super sweet the next. This is based on the web novel "Thundercloud Rainstorm" by Caesim, which I haven't read and I reviewed the series based on its own merits. 8 episodes about 30 minutes each. Aired on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/thundercloud-rainstorm-episode-1-1n404dlzgcg?lang=en_us ; GagaOOLala (available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Southeast Asia and Europe (excluding Spain, Portugal, and United Kingdom)) and on Heavenly in South Korea.Content Warnings: non con kiss, punch/beaten up, manhandling, coercion, intimate partner abuse, victim blaming, blackmail
Watch Suggestions (to focus on steamy & sweet)
- episode 1 watch 24:15-end
- episode 2 watch 9:40-10:30, 16:10-16:30, 25-end
- episode 3 watch beginning-15
- episode 4 watch beginning-15
- episode 5 watch beginning-9:15, 28-30
- skip episodes 6 and 7
- episode 8 watch 3:30-end which gives an overview and shows how the series ended
What I Liked
- chemistry (in the beginning, it fizzled a bit in my opinion)
- visuals
- that one character wasn't completely child-like (the kick in ep 3 was good, wish we saw more agency from him)
- one character had consequences off screen
Room For Improvement
- some choppiness especially in the beginning with time jumps
- a character's action in the beginning of episode 1 made no sense if I understood the timeline correctly, also they said he should have been in a ton of pain??
- the drunk and forget cliche
- Il Jo needed more agency
- inconsistent characterization, a character was cruel and the next second was in love, then abusive, then a sweet puppy and so on (it made it so I couldn't trust their nice side because the other side was always lurking around the corner)
- a character knew something terrible could have happened and then sat around for awhile towards the end of episode 4
- some night scenes were too dark, needed more light on the actors' faces
- noble idiot trope
- a character stayed trash thru the end and had zero consequences

it's a ride (watch suggestions)
Overall: I was mostly entertained but the huge total shifts were not for me. I gave this a rating bump because they did attempt something different with the plot even though it was filled with nonsense. 12 episodes about 1 hour each (uncut). Aired uncut on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/2elmpcfm17c?lang=en_us&sh_pltf=4 ; aired uncut on GagaOOLala in Germany, UK & Australia - US starting Dec 21st https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/4985/the-heart-killers-2024 ; airing uncut? on GMMTV's YouTube channel not in the US, Canada or Japan https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLszepnkojZI6Bo6a1yZ8iqQTM_A7AiYxQ&si=R4ODeKuWn7AV-SQh (I will use a VPN to check if YT is the cut or uncut version, episode 1 on iQIYI was 1hr4m27s) Later re-aired on Viki https://www.viki.com/tv/40924c-the-heart-killers This review is for the uncut version which was the only MDL entry at the time.Content Warnings: murders, blood, manipulation, non con picture taking, blackmail/coercion, non con kissing, harassment, homophobia, bullying, teacher/student relationship/grooming/pedophilia, stalking, beaten up, blood, intimate partner abuse, kidnapping, attempted murder, past murders, vomiting
Watch Suggestions (focuses more on sweet moments with the main couples)
- watch episodes 1-5 (likely won't go back for timings though I overall enjoyed the first several episodes)
- episode 6 stop at 1hr1min30s
- skip episode 7
- episode 8 watch 54-end
- episode 9 watch beginning to 16 and 30 to the end
- episode 10 watch 19-40 and 51-end
- episode 11 watch all or can skip 11:30-18:15
- watch ep 12
What I Liked
- an engaging start
- unique premise (non school setting and actors get to play characters closer to their real age)
- flirting/physical intimacy
- sweet moments
- how characters weren't blushing maidens
- styling
- glad they turned the teacher in and there were consequences for that
- that they subverted a very common trope in ep 12
- director cameo in ep 12
- overall wrapped up well
Room For Improvement
- the huge tonal shifts between sweet cinnamon rolls to cold blooded killers (the graphic dream murdering was too much), did not enjoy the amount of times characters pointed a loaded gun at their love interest and it made it difficult for me to root for the couples
- I've never seen a mechanic with that much grease on their face/body before, felt like a fictional way to say "this person is an auto mechanic"
- some of the sound effects/background music
- a couple of odd mouth/face close up shots
- crashed a grief support group and made a mockery of it on multiple occasions
- too much accordion music
- not a fan of the level of harassment, luckily it ended in episode 4
- random couple in episode 8 when they could have spent more time developing a third couple
- ep 12 poor communication lead to more hurt than if he had just said what his plan was
- a ton of nonsense plot stuff that pulled me out of the story also cliched things such as saying "let me explain" over and over again but not explaining, a character saying "trust me" and another character trusting them because of it

cooking and cuteness (please give fans an international release)
Overall: I was hooked right away on the characters and their dynamic. 10 episodes about 25 minutes each. No official international release.Content Warning: kind of non con pulling, spying, attempted violence
What I Liked
- clear premise
- their dynamic
- sweet moments
- the food/cooking
- interesting characters
- *supportive friends
Room For Improvement
- wish what happened the end of 8 had happened an episode or 2 earlier so we could have seen a character's conversation with his dad on screen instead of off screen and also instead of a montage at the end we should have seen those scenes play out
- not clear about how much time passed in episode 9 but I was frustrated with 1 character's indecision for what felt like a longer amount of time
- *the friend overstepped boundaries and took up too much screentime, it wasn't funny that they were basically stalking their friend
- repeated misleading cliffhanger endings
- sick from the rain trope
- the final press kiss, I was fine with the earlier one but the last one seemed a tad too chaste given their relationship at that point
- (neutral) a love rival but thankfully handled it well
- unfortunately there was no international release (didn't take off points)

enjoyed the first 4 episodes
Overall: I was really enjoying the chemistry in the first 4 episodes but the last 2 didn't work for me. 6 episodes about 35 minutes each. Aired on WeTV https://wetv.vip/en/play/x9f8tbtrynespbk-Memory%20in%20the%20letter%20(Uncut%20Ver.)/x0048wdyxbh-EP1%3A%20Memory%20in%20the%20letter%20(Uncut%20Ver.) A spoiler comment with additional thoughts.Content Warnings: punch/parental abuse, stalking
What I Liked
- unique premise
- mystery aspect
- sweet moments
- chemistry
Room For Improvement
- though I'm normally not a fan of montages to show time passing, I think they needed one because it seemed a bit rushed for what happened at the end of episode 1 to happen
- love rival (this kept me from fully investing in the couple)
- Christmas music
- the dad's redemption arc was poorly done
- never explained exactly what happened to the mom, was it an accident, how did that happen???
- unrealistic things i.e. lugging something up to the roof and leaning on it without worrying about it tipping over, something taking only 5 years which for that kind of case would be a person with much more training/experience, no one really concerned over something, etc.
- awkward kiss in episode 6

slow moving countryside Thai BL (minor spoilers)
Overall: this is a spin off to Star In My Mind and you don't need to watch Star In My Mind first. I enjoyed the countryside setting but it moved too slowly and the 7th episode nonsense/non logical writing and then more cliches in the finale bumped it down to a 7. Watched on YouTube.Content Warnings: manipulation, stalking, animal blood/death off screen
What I Liked
- I laughed a few times
- cute moments including some oldie but goody tropes like 'there's something in your hair' and 'protect mode.'
- countryside setting
- episode 6 poor communication was cleared up right away
- Prince's mom
- neutral (it has comedy sound effects)
Room For Improvement
- I wish they had had the flashback/explanation in part 3 of episode 1 at the very start. It was odd when last week was a cliffhanger and then they are just in a small village...
- sloooowwww pacing
- not into the reluctant pursuee trope
- nonsense/non logical things (especially in ep 7, only 2 cars? all of Fah's 3 cell phones suddenly don't work? not how you diagnose that, etc)
- more cliche stuff in the finale, making decisions about someone else instead of talking to them and asking what they want, lack of apology, no communication about something that could actually cause friction in their relationship
- annoying that Fah was dictating his younger brother's relationship regarding physical affection, speaking of,
- the G rated Kluen/Daonuea scenes added nothing, they felt more middle school couple than university couple
- side characters didn't really do much
- useless love triangles
- not a fan of the intro drawing style

meandering note of love (watch suggestions)
Overall: it had an interesting start, but the writing didn't focus enough on the relationship development with the 2 couples. 12 episodes about 25 minutes each. Aired on GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/4605/first-note-of-love-2024-e01 ; Viki https://www.viki.com/videos/1252718v-first-note-of-love-episode-1 and GTV Drama English (1st episode is free, rest require membership) https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLop44oNqUSC9xnGXttLCAEuk10CedGz3w&si=qNRALRx_1z8CBNeo Note: there are sometimes extra scenes after the initial end credits.Content Warnings: past death, grief, mental health struggles, harassment, fight, kind of stalking
Watch Suggestions (to center on the relationships with the 2 couples)
- watch episodes 1-4
- episode 5 watch 7-17:20
- episode 6 watch 2:40-4:15 (flashback), 10:45-12:55, 22:45-end
- episode 7 start at 4 minutes because there were too many recaps/flashbacks at the beginning
- watch episode 8
- watch episode 9 beginning to 4:45
- watch episode 10 4:30-14 and 19:30-end
- watch episode 11 beginning to 5:15 and then 24:30 to the end
- watch episode 12 13:30 to the end (bonus scene after initial end credits)
What I Liked
- clear premise
- a character wasn't a pushover
- excellent makeover
- Mos and Bank cameo
- side m/m couple tension
- multilingual aspect felt realistic
- good that Sea did something in episode 7
Room For Improvement
- too much of the plot was not focused on the leads together, in episode 6 they only had 3 minutes out of 24 minutes and it wasn't until 18:30 that they had a scene together
- too many flashbacks/set in the past stuff
- the NSFW scenes were poorly edited, felt very choppy
- unclear about the timeline/time jump length, I think the characters were 19/29 in the present
- the age gap didn't bother me but the connection when 1 was a child and then having that character in a child-like bowl haircut and making him act like a deer in headlights was odd
- some scenes needed a bit more light on the actors' faces
- the asinine plan in episode 9
Question answered: in the beginning of episode 1 it said the band mates were brothers, someone commented that they were biological brothers (I wasn't sure because sometimes subtitles translate friends into brothers)

the mutual magnetic pull was mesmerizing
Overall: this is one of the rare series that I didn't watch at a faster speed because all of the pauses and silences carried weight. I was going to give it a 10/10 but I think the finale could have been better along with a few other things. The series was based on a Korean webtoon "Our Youth" which I read, but tried to review the series on its own merits. 10 episodes plus a special about 23 minutes each. Aired on GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/4914/our-youth-2024Content Warnings: child abuse, beaten up, alcoholism, non/dub con kisses, death, theft
What I Liked
- tension and chemistry
- caring moments
- centered on the leads
- the intimacy in episode 7
- metaphor of water (waves bring things to you and take them away, water is ever-changing and difficult to hold onto, water is refreshing etc)
- production value (cinematography)
Room For Improvement
- ominous intro scenes/voice overs and then flashbacks to tell the story
- an open window led to something cliche in ep 4
- a character ignored when another character looked uncomfortable
- that the re-telling took half of episode 5
- some lackluster kissing (I forgave the earlier ones but episode 10 was a let-down, felt there should have been more passion)
- episode 10 tried to cover too much ground/time, it felt rushed and anticlimactic

want to see the actors in something else (watch suggestions for the cut version)
Overall: I was not a fan of the dynamic between either of the 2 main couples (lack of communication/acting like a child and idiotic/abusive approaches). This series was based on books which I haven't read and I reviewed the series on its own merits. Uncut (~52 min to 1hr17min) on WeTV https://wetv.vip/en/play/1ci6pha8sn1tf5h-Fourever%20You/t4100l7xft2-EP1%3A%20Fourever%20You%20(Uncut%20Ver.) ; uncut for Wabi Sabi's YouTube Membership ; cut (~47 min) on WeTV https://wetv.vip/en/play/ao1v1tecg9lpwhb-Fourever%20You%20(Uncut%20Ver.)/s4100zd55dq-EP01A%3A%20Fourever%20You and YouTube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb6_2JamS9iP_2lK0mjCScRwFJx8c8ru6 - later aired on Viki https://www.viki.com/tv/41066c-fourever-youContent Warning: non con touching, homophobia, punch, fight, manipulation/coercion, non con picture taking/sharing, attempted sex assault, physical assault, victim blaming, non/dub con kiss, intimate partner abuse (financial)
Watch Suggestions
- watch episode 1
- watch episode 2: part 1 9-end, 2/3 9:30-end and all of 2/4
- watch episode 3: part 1 4-6 & 13:30-end, all of part 2
- watch episode 4: start part 1 at 3 min and watch part 4
- watch episode 5: part 2 beg to 5 min, part 3 2:30-end, part 4 5:30-end
- watch episode 6: part 1 beginning to 4
- watch episode 7: part 2 4:25-5:10, part 3 4:10-9:20, part 4 6-end
- watch episode 8: part 1 (or can skip), part 2 6:20-end, part 3 beginning to 3:30, part 4 2:30-end

- watch episode 10: part 3 1:30-8:30
- watch episode 11: part 3 5:30-6:10
- watch episode 12: part 1 11-end, part 2 5:45-end, part 3 5:55-8, part 4 10:30-end
- watch episode 13: part 1 11:30-end, watch part 2 and part 3, can watch part 4 for a long flashback scene for how two characters met
- watch episode 14: part 1 up to 11 min, part 2 6:05-end, part 3 4:30-5:45 or the whole thing, all of part 4
- watch episode 15: part 2 2-end for the side couple, part 3 beginning to 7:30, part 4 4-5:15
- episode 16 is the backstory of Johan and North which didn't interest me (and his present day approach still made zero sense),
- watch episode 17: part 1 5:15-10:50 and 17-end, part 2 10-11:15 or all the way to the end if you enjoy family intros, watch all of parts 3 and 4
What I Liked
- excellent way to start a series
- the F4 entrance was fun (though not the exposition dump to introduce the characters)
- nice to see several actors again
- supportive dad and grandma
- supportive friends
- good that after a confrontation, a person apologized and removed pictures that were taken without consent
- sweet moments
- episode 17 tied things up well
Room For Improvement
- felt very old school Thai BL, there was zero reason for poor communication dragging on for a long time/not clearing things up right away in the past or the present
- slow pacing, 17 episodes with a delayed final episode (nearly 5 months for the cut version to air), overall a thin plot felt stretched
- an abusive jerk (controlling, manipulative) was supposed to be someone the viewer rooted for because he was less evil than another abusive jerk introduced in episode 10, the "plan"/approach made zero sense and was unpleasant to watch, his victim blaming "I told you not to work there" and financial coercion (I'll give you money for each kiss/hug) was gross, he also said "don't go out of my sight ever again", still used coercion for getting kisses in episode 15, said "kiss me and I'll answer why I like you" and moved the supposed love of his life without asking him first
- the haircuts/styles and acting like a child as a university student (an actual dialog was a character saying that they needed to hold hands or the other character (a university student) might get lost, later on a different character covered his boyfriend's eyes to prevent him from seeing someone kiss because I guess he was not mature enough to see that???)
- nonsense stuff like a character saying he would answer anything and then the other character not asking the most important question, in episode 14 where a character was so drunk that he lost consciousness but then was an active participant in sex
- 5 episodes was much too long for the first couple's story and then it continued to drag thru to the very end
- the comedy sound effects didn't make things funny
- not a fan of what a character did while the other was sleeping in episode 1
- awkward body gap and hands at sides when kissing
- cliche ex girlfriend plot in episode 10
Note: I skimmed thru the cut version to find the missing 5 minutes in ep 1 and other than the beginning being shorter, I didn't notice any changes. Episode 2 uncut was 1 minute longer. Episode 17 was 11 minutes longer. Up to episode 9 there was no NSFW. I watched ep 17 uncut and it didn't get steamy, a little kissing and then cut away to the next morning and the cut version appeared to be the same. Hence, I'm not sure there is that much extra NSFW in the uncut version and I value my sanity too much to watch all 17 uncut episodes and compare them)

beginning was slow, ending was rushed (watch suggestions)
Overall: the initial premise was good but the execution was lacking. 12 episodes about 15 minutes each. Aired on Viki and GagaOOLala (country dependent).Watch Suggestions: (if you want to see the lead interactions and avoid a bunch of drama)
- read the synopsis
- watch episodes 6, 7 and 8
- skip episodes 9 & 10
- watch ep 11 5:35 to the end
- watch ep 12 13:30 to the end (or can watch all of it for a ton of drama that was quickly resolved)
Content Warnings: coercion/blackmail, non con picture/video taking and sharing, slap, 2 more but I'm keeping this spoiler free, one involves an animal
What I Liked
- the beginning was funny and I laughed at 1 fight scene
- visuals
- a few sweet moments
- production value*
Room For Improvement
- the leads don't really start interacting until episode 6 and halfway thru is waaayyyy too late, they had a few seconds in episode 2 and then towards the end of ep 5 but by then I was shipping the one lead with 2 other characters, I didn't really care about all the other stuff that they put in, there just wasn't enough time to do the romance well and with the additions of a love rival, family drama, work struggles etc.
- 6 antagonists was too many for just 3 hours of run time, also most/all antagonists did not have adequate consequences for their actions
- it is totally realistic that someone understands more in a language than what they can speak; however, it was not realistic that every single Korean character could understand Thai in the first few episodes, he should have spoken a few words in Korean to side characters but had his assistant, manager and dad understand Thai, also why was he wearing the translation device when they established that he understands Korean??? (also a character used the translation device to understand him but then later didn't and magically knew Thai, and that taping was live but no one translated into Korean what was said in Thai, how would the audience know what the character said?)
- *it was choppy at times, episode 1 ends with talking to a director and then the beginning of episode 2 is a character in a totally different place/time, two guys in a van talk to a character and then suddenly he is driving a motorcycle, in episode 7 it's complete daylight then the next second it's total darkness, etc.
- comedy sound effects, silly background music
- convenient writing (with the phones in ep 8), someone is injured then magically healed, cliche of overhearing something but ghosting/not communicating
- ending was extremely rushed, things were said but earlier never shown, everything tied sloppily with a bow
- with the series title, they should have had the setting be a cat cafe

Oh! That Was a Thing...
Overall: This is based on the manhwa so I started to read it and they changed the main characters for the worse in the live action adaption. Watched on Viki.Content Warnings: attempted violence, non con touch (sleeping)
What I Liked
- an interesting premise
- I laughed a few times
- the burglar (except for who he chose to go after first, come on!), I actually wish the burglar had been a housemate the whole time
- good production value*
Room For Improvement
- odd things, why was the main character kneeling when calling his mom because his video wasn't turned on? But then at the end of the call the video was on; who goes to their room instead of the kitchen to bake and who goes into someone else's room and eats their cake? who lets a super drunk best friend go home by themselves?
- the main character is creepy/desperate and ignoring boundaries at the beginning, it's odd
- the other main character was a big jerk to a woman in episode 4, I don't like either main character, I don't understand his sudden shift either
- the kissing was not good
- pointless love triangle (this was in the source material)
- wasn't into the m/f couple (this was in the source material)
- the actions of the characters doesn't feel realistic

a little bit dangerous and a lot romcom cliches
Overall: the trailer promised a grittier/darker series but it's like the directors/screenwriters never talked to each other. The first two episodes were what I was expecting, then it went full romcom (i.e. multiple accidental fall/stares), then some danger towards the end that didn't make sense. 12 episodes about 45 minutes each. Aired on GMMTV's YouTube channel.Content Warnings: bullying, punches, violence/beaten up, non con kiss, non con video recording, cyberbullying, manhandling, attempted murder, drugging, attempted sexual assault
What I Liked
- that Sailom was book and a bit street smart as well in the beginning
- Sailom's friend group
- Kang's grandma was amazing
- sweet moments
- a couple funny moments
- production value
Room For Improvement
- too many romance tropes like the accidental fall and catch/stare (there were at least 3 in the first 7 episodes)
- odd pacing/plot, enemies part was too short and then rushed into becoming boyfriends
- the writers made Sailom too reluctant once they started dating/too many near kisses, made it feel more like a bromance, several kisses were uncomfortable to watch
- the comedy sound effects should have been left out, they didn't fit well
- Kang did not have a good enough villain origin story (not that any reason makes it okay to physically injure another human being)
- didn't root for the second couple because of the bullying at the beginning
- Kang's character was very inconsistent, I didn't want him in a romantic relationship because I felt like he'd bail again at the first sign of trouble
- Saifah was too stupid, there could have been a really interesting side plot/character there but his character was poorly written
- nonsense/because the writer said so stuff (some examples, that gang boss's "plan" in episode 11 made zero sense, what that police officer said, there was no reason given for Saifah trusting Name so much)
- not sure what was being hinted at with the student/teacher but they mostly disappeared
- some scenes were too dimly lit
- too many flashbacks especially in episode 6 and 11
- jumped to the past/present repeatedly in episode 7 part 1
