vibed with the second half more
Overall: I did not enjoy a child-like character who basically stalked a seemingly uninterested character for several episodes. Note this review/series has something that might be triggering. 12 episodes about 45 minutes each. Aired on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/duang-with-you-uncut-episode-1-1i3zcr5hiek?lang=en_us and episode 1 was on Mandee YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcTibKbv20S7j_lCcNUEywFWET_lybdJZ&si=kC4Ac1i6KZTkdSmxContent Warning: stalking (portrayed as romantic), hits (portrayed as comedic), past child abuse shown
Watch Suggestions for Uncut version (if the dynamic at the start doesn't work for you and this takes out content warnings/focuses on sweet parts)
- start at episode 6 at 20:30
- stop episode 7 at 57 min
- episode 8 watch 8-12:45 and 35-end
- episode 9 watch 4-6:35 and 20:30-end (skip 42-43)
- episode 10 watch beginning-22 and 40:30-51:50
- watch episode 11 but skip 26:30-37 where there is a flashback
- watch episode 12
What I Liked
- easy to understand premise
- supportive friends (though they sometimes shared 1 brain cell)
- visuals
- cameos/supporting roles
- sweet/caring moments
- intimacy scenes done well
- talked about flexibility in positions
Room For Improvement
- the child-like character (one time he said "I'm sulky now" while pouting and stomping his foot) who relentlessly pursued a seemingly uninterested character (at least 1 time he told him to shut up) and this lasted too long before being reciprocated
- pointless side couple
- comedy sound effects did not make things funny

face cards delivered, writing did not
Overall: I think the actors did their best with an underwhelming plot. 8 episodes about 25 min each. Aired on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/peach-trap-episode-1-25v64vqz458?lang=en_us ; GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/5964/peach-trap-2025-e01 (not United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Taiwain) & Heavenly (South Korea)Content Warning: non/dub con kissing, punch, manipulation
What I Liked
- visuals
- peach references
- easy to understand premise
- Do Ha showed some initiative in episode 8
Room For Improvement
- even with the fantasy element, I couldn't believe 3 gorgeous men were all in love with the human equivalent of a damp rag, in the end I wanted Do Ha to be alone, talk with a therapist and learn to be an adult human
- too much of the ML moping/being indecisive and flashbacks
- one character punched a character and the line afterward was maybe supposed to be romantic but came across as creepy
- another character manipulated Do Ha and he managed to get a love interest at the end

interesting premise, confusing execution
Overall: I enjoyed that this had a unique premise but there were just too many plot elements thrown in and they were not able to explain or wrap everything up well. Watched on YouTube.Content Warnings: there is one (which we actually never see and I wish we had) but I'm going to keep this spoiler free
What I Liked
- gorgeous country/mountainside setting
- a bit of mystery/more of a unique premise
- cinematography and music
- the actors did a good job
Room For Improvement
- there was just not enough screen time to fully develop the multitude of plot points and it ended up being too confusing i.e. the two "games", jumping back and forth in the timeline, the scene on the bridge - what was he apologizing for???, the repeated bridge scene, the twist (I would have cut that whole element/character out), how was it so coincidental with the timing with them ending in the place from the first episode, what exactly happened with their relationship?
- I would have preferred that the first episode content was cut down into 5-10 minutes and then they moved into how they met/their relationship, shown (not told) what exactly happened to land them there so close in timing and then have the final episode in the place we saw in the first episode
- it's fine to have plot twists and mystery elements, but in the end, the audience should go 'ah haaa' like in The Sixth Sense and I was left with 'uh whaaat?'

His Beautiful Jerk
Overall: Although I heard that the characters were more developed/had character growth in the manga, I am only reviewing what I saw in the 6 episodes. If this had been an explicit dom/sub and/or sadist/masochist relationship with discussion about rules and boundaries, then I would have enjoyed it more. Watched on Gagaoolala, it's also on Viki.Content Warnings: manhandling, repeatedly name calling (disgusting, gross, stalker), there are two scenes in episode three where I began to think that Hira is a sociopath
What I Liked:
- the intro animation sequence was really cool and it set up the story well
- overall good production value
- good acting
Room For Improvement:
- the intro sequence and music sets this up as a silly and upbeat show and the vibe is much darker
- the accordion music was an odd choice for the intro animation, seemed to be the wrong vibe
- Hira is obsessive and does stalker behaviors. I was hoping to see character growth when he went to college, but saw none.
- I was hoping Kiyoi would have character growth but he continues the name calling, kicks and pushes Hira to the ground.
- I didn't like all of the "you are gross/disgusting/stalker", it sounds like it may have been a translation issue but the number of times it was said was a turn off
- did not like the master/servant dynamic without discussion of dom/sub

three "friends"
Overall: the focus on this is more about the bonds/tests of friendship and the fantasy aspect. Check my spoiler comment for how this ends. 50 episodes, 1-8 are free. Aired on the Shortime app and iQIYI app. My Shortime invite link is My invite link is https://playground.shortime.app/en/invite/NKNIWI - the code is NKNIWI (those are all capital letters, that's the capital letter i) which will give you a bonus.Content Warnings: homophobia, unwanted public outing
What I Liked
- non cliche love triangle/supportive friend
Room For Improvement
- cliche evil ex
- wanted a bit more scenes with the ending couple
- the unhoused character had dirt/grease smudges on his face

a player and a nerd
Overall: seems to be a remake of the Frame & Book couple from Make It Right. Though I like the original couple, it's 9 years later so I expected some updates. Aired on GagaOOLala app. 20 short episodes.Content Warnings: non/dub con sex/turned consensual???, non con video recording/sharing/outing
What I Liked
- I'd like to see the actors in something else
- easy to understand premise
- player/nerd dynamic
Room For Improvement
- for their first time Book unbuttoning his own shirt but then they followed it up with him saying "no" and "stop" which was obviously ignored, the second time Flame coerced him when it was a problem of his own making
- I blinked and they were boyfriends after a scene where Book conveyed that was never going to happen
- fed into the stereotype of bisexual people as players
- ended on a cliffhanger
- comedy sound effects didn't make things funny

What I Liked
- an established couple
- visuals
- the plot idea of moving on from a past love
- sweet moments
Room For Improvement
- the plot never grabbed me, I had to restart this series 3 times
- with the main couple, they didn't hold my attention
- comedy sound effects

well done prequel (need a spin off of the side couple)
Overall: this is a prequel to the short series Love Reset https://kisskh.at/profile/blcompilations/reviews/504190 Four episodes about 8 minutes each. Aired on Truefilm YouTube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkQFxcEhORR3zNUebXvCBuhRLMzgRsksw&si=FJsuJO-o9Ryw9KYA Uncut version would be a 9 as it had a key response in the final episodeContent Warning: past stalking not shown
What I Liked
- chemistry (of both couples)
- realistic friends
- easy to understand premise
- nice camera work to show dream/reality
- good kissing
Room For Improvement
- they don't show the answer in the cut version

What I Liked
- the intense kissing towards the beginning
- an established couple
- visuals
Room For Improvement
- one guy wasn't a damsel in distress
- that they made a heavier guy the stalker
- noble idiot trope (thankfully short lived)
- evil mom cliche

On the Rewards (popcorn bag icon page)
- check in = 5 (increases over 7 days up to 25)
- create a login = 20? (I did create a login because otherwise you only get 1 Always Win box instead of 3 per day, I think this was 20 popcorn)
- do the 3 random popcorn from the daily Always Win box = 30 (I'd normally get 5-15, around 30 in total)
- Watch Ads, watch all 10 ads each day, have to wait 30 seconds in between ads = 110
When you run out of popcorn while watching, you can watch 5 episodes each day with ads

want the actors in something with a better script
Overall: a bunch of naked cheaters cheating and then a bad ending.
What I Liked
- the step mom
- fishing setting
- visuals
- the director is in the series
Room For Improvement
- it made no sense to give a romantic main lead a nice, visibly pregnant girlfriend, why didn't they just have him be single?, the audience learned something very important way too late (end of episode 7)
- the innuendo/crassness was too much
- started with a flash forward
- having sex while sleeping seemed pretty nonsense to me
- some of the music didn't fit like goofy music during a serious scene
- felt like they used the first take for every scene
- a character did something completely nonsense and out of character
- there was no emotional punch due to the ai generated content in the finale and what characters had done before
- the ending (see my spoiler comment), I generally dislike this type of ending because I want the writer/s to commit and it feels like having it both ways

loss and love
Overall: an enjoyable short indie series about a situation that is not frequently shown. 4 episodes about 10 minutes each. Aired on Secret of Us Official YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7BSona1dmx4H7qAsET9W5qnlsd3cpJ1_&si=pwUbEhFWaq9L4_oQ - they also made Infidelity, It's a Disease.Content Warnings: past death, grief, self harm, blood, suicidal ideation/attempted suicide, non con turned consensual?, beaten up off screen, blood
What I Liked
- chemistry/tension
- centered on the 2 leads
- how my initial impression of each of them changed
- rarely told story of loving again
Room For Improvement
- started with a flash forward
- some scenes were very dark and they needed more light on the actors' faces
- that the non/dub con had been clearly consensual
- rushed ending

musical coming of age BL
Overall: the underlying premise was fine; however, musical montages didn't develop their relationship well. It was difficult for me to root for their romance. And they each fell a bit petty with quitting the club and then refusing to communicate. The ending was good. About 30 minutes long. solid indie mini series
Overall: I gave this a rating bump because even though it looks very indie, I liked how it centered on just 2 characters. Aired on ALOS Studios YouTube Channel, the movie version combined the 3 episodes (21 minutes long) cw dub con sexhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2xesNmEezs
Content Warnings: dub con sex*
What I Liked
- centered on 2 characters (no tired cliches like exes showing up)
- music
- good kissing
- they mentioned using something
- sweet moments
- the ending
Room For Improvement
- too many flashbacks/forwards
- *I'm not 100% sure, the guy was crying but not necessarily because he regretted/didn't want it at the time, had the nonsense of so drunk he couldn't remember what happened but then appeared not drunk at the time/very active participant, he might have been lying about not remembering

how you felt about the series is how you'll feel about this special
Overall: this 30 minute special felt very much as a continuation of the series (both the bad and the good). What I Liked
- played footsie in the meeting
- food kiss
- sweet moments
Room For Improvement
- Pat did the blushing maiden trope and saying no quite a few times
- no character growth, that other dude was still just as insecure and jealous though at least his boyfriend liked to kiss
- needed to consult with a ton of people before mustering up the courage to do something
- there was a dead fish lip press

a quirky dystopian series (side BL couple)
Overall: bright colors, comedy and a dating game somehow blend well with a dystopian world and sinister underpinnings. 6 episodes about 1 hour each. Aired on Netflix https://www.netflix.com/title/81517158Content Warnings: death off screen, held against will, manipulation, likely more I'm forgetting
BL Scenes
episode 2: 52-54 (set up)
episode 4: 14:15-19:25, 34:15-34:45, 37:45-40, 49-55:30
episode 5: beginning-1
episode 6: 57-1hr2, 1hr9:15-1hr10:45
What I Liked
- het, GL & BL representation
- it made me laugh a few times
- tension/chemistry
- family relationships
- commentary on freedom/rights
Room For Improvement
- the ending was good but it teased a 2nd season which hasn't been announced
