Main couple no chemistry
The overall storyline of My Engineer is quite good, but I felt that the main couple lacked intimacy and chemistry. From the beginning, their relationship felt a bit shallow, and I just couldn’t connect with their dynamic. In contrast, I found Boss and Mek much more engaging.
I also enjoyed the story of King and Ram, though I was disappointed that their relationship didn’t progress further. I heard there were plans for a second season, but sadly, it was cancelled.
If you're looking for a BL series filled with romance and passionate moments, this might not be the one for you. It seems the actors had certain limitations and were only able to do what they were comfortable with, which is completely understandable. However, even without explicit scenes, strong chemistry between leads can make a big difference. Unfortunately, I just didn’t feel that spark in the main couple.
