Filipino BL series that has fairytale vibes

As Filipino myself I like this series as it offers a unique glimpse into Filipino culture and family dynamics. One of the things that impressed me was the noticeable effort and budget put into the production – it's clear that the creators aimed to elevate the standard for Filipino BL series, which often face budget constraints.

The series has a fairytale-like quality, with vibrant visuals and a compelling narrative. If you're a fan of poor and rich couple you might enjoy this show. In addition, Ace and Sky, have undeniable chemistry, and their intimate scenes are passionate and authentic.

However, there were few nonsensical scenes involving villains.

Regarding the series' structure, I found it uninteresting that Season 2 shifted focus away from Ace and introduced a new love interest. While this change made the season less compelling for me, I understand that real-world issues between the actor Aki Torres (who played Ace) and the management might have influenced the creative decisions.

Despite this, I continued watching Season 2 because I became invested in the second couple, Fifth and Zeke. If you're interested in exploring Filipino culture and BL storytelling, My Day is worth checking out.
