More Than Just a Romcom

I’ve always had a soft spot for romantic comedies, so when Wandee Goodday came along, I thought I’d give it a shot and honestly, it never disappointed me.

From the very beginning, Wandee had me laughing out loud. He’s absolutely hilarious, especially with all the over-the-top flirting and trying-hard attempts to seduce Yoryak. Sure, he’s doing the most, but that’s what makes it so fun and it ends up being the perfect way for the two of them to really get to know each other.

Also, can we talk about Wandee’s grandmother for a sec? She’s an absolute queen. Cool, sassy, and effortlessly iconic.

Whoever cast Thor and Great as brothers deserves a major raise because they genuinely look like siblings. They can passed as twins. The resemblance is uncanny and adds such a natural dynamic to their scenes together.

This series doesn't shy away from spice either; there are many NC scenes, and while they’re definitely hot, they’re handled in a way that feels intimate rather than purely lustful. It’s a nice balance that adds to the chemistry between the leads rather than taking away from the story.

Speaking of representation, I really appreciate the way the show touches on asexuality. It’s rare to see that explored, especially in a genre that’s usually all about the physical side of love.

The chemistry between Great and Inn? Off the charts. Every scene between them feels alive, whether it’s sweet, sexy, or emotionally charged.

Production-wise, it’s top-notch. The visuals are clean and crisp, and everything from lighting to set design feels well thought-out.
