I watched Fish Upon the Sky basically because I was running out of BLs to watch, desperate times, haha. It’s another enemies-to-lovers story, which I’m a total sucker for, so of course I had to check it out.

The concept is cute, but honestly, it felt a bit lacking in substance. Kinda childish at times, not necessarily a bad thing, just not super deep. I’m usually not a big fan of BLs set in university, but I gave this one a shot because Phuwin’s character studies Medicine, and that caught my interest.

I did feel a little sad for Pi (Phuwin), though. He’s super insecure about his looks, even though he’s actually really good-looking. It was hard to watch him beat himself up like that.

Surprisingly, my favorite storyline ended up being Duean and Meen’s. Neo as Duean is hilarious, he never fails to bring the comedy.

Oh, and side note, that cadaver scene? Way too fake. They just threw a white cloth over it, and I couldn’t help but laugh. Not realistic at all.

If you’re someone who watches a lot of BLs, this one’s worth a try, just don’t expect it to blow you away. Definitely more of a filler watch than a must-see 😂
