Didn't Expect to Love This So Much!
OMG, this series is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time! I started watching Peach of Time with low expectations, and wow—was I wrong. It completely caught me off guard in the best way. I didn’t expect to sign up for such a roller coaster of emotions. It has some lighthearted moments, but it never gets boring, and the dialogues are surprisingly well-written.
What makes it stand out is how unique it is—one of the main characters speaks Thai and the other speaks Korean, but somehow it just works. It’s actually my first time watching a series like this, and I loved the cultural mix. The story is also easy to follow since the cast is small, which helps you connect more with each character.
If you liked He's Coming to Me or Something in My Room (though that one is a little draggy 😂) I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy this one too. My only complaint is that it felt a little too short for my taste. Ten episodes with just 27 minutes each didn’t feel enough—but to be fair, they did manage to wrap up the major and side plots pretty well within that time.
As for chemistry? Jimmy and his partner in this series have amazing chemistry—honestly, the best I’ve seen from him. They’re adorable together (the height difference? Chef’s kiss). Everyone in the cast did great, but I have to give a special shoutout to Jimmy—he’s improved so much since Why RU, and it really shows here.
Now, about the ending... I wasn’t completely satisfied. It felt a bit rushed and left me with a weird feeling like something was missing. But hey, I’m the type who loves both sad and happy endings, so maybe that’s just me being picky.
All in all, Peach of Time was still such a good watch. If you're in the mood for something emotional, heartfelt, and a bit different, I definitely recommend it. Just go in with an open heart—and don’t expect a fairytale ending. 💔💖
