Short and Simple
The Nameless Season is a cute and light microseries—honestly, it feels like something they could’ve just made into a short movie instead. The plot is super simple, not much really happens, but it still kept me entertained while I was working on my laptop.
It’s about two boys who are classmates and friends, and one of them secretly likes the other. Not a lot of characters, and it definitely feels like a low-budget Korean BL, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
My only complaint is how slow some of the conversations are. Like in one scene where they’re eating and drinking, it takes forever for someone to answer a question—it just drags a bit.
But I actually liked how it ended! I thought it would be one-sided love, but the ending was sweet and satisfying. If you’re just looking for something light and easy to watch in one sitting, I’d recommend it. 🩷
