Never Thought Domundi Would Pull This Off
No doubt, Khemjira is one of the best BLs of 2025. I was honestly surprised that it came from Domundi. I’m sorry, but I’ve never been a huge fan of most of their writings. I mean, I’ve enjoyed some of their shows, but nothing ever stood out to me the way Khemjira did.
It’s a shame though, because Domundi always produces high-quality series — like The Next Prince but most of the time, the plots just aren’t that groundbreaking or impressive.
If you’re here for the mystery and thrill, you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t expect too much on the romance side, since it’s a slow burn for the main characters. I was also pleasantly surprised by the historical elements. I didn’t know about that beforehand because I never read the novel, but I’m glad they added it — I love historical shows.
I really appreciate how Khemjira managed to combine horror, mystery, reincarnation and romance all in one series. Writing and producing a supernatural story like this isn’t easy, but they pulled it off so well this time.
When it comes to acting, both leads delivered strong performances, and whoever decided to pair Nampeng and Keng together made an excellent choice — their chemistry is palpable. The second couple also added a lot of charm to the series and had great chemistry too.
Special shoutout to the actress who played Rhampueng — her role is definitely a big part of the show! Her acting was so convincing, and she nailed every emotion she portrayed.
Overall, Khemjira is a well-crafted horror BL with an amazing cast, high-quality production, and stunning cinematography and soundtrack.
