Didn't Expect to Love This So Much!
OMG, this series is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time! I started watching Peach of Time with low expectations, and wow—was I wrong. It completely caught me off guard in the best way. I didn’t expect to sign up for such a roller coaster of emotions. It has some lighthearted moments, but it never gets boring, and the dialogues are surprisingly well-written.What makes it stand out is how unique it is—one of the main characters speaks Thai and the other speaks Korean, but somehow it just works. It’s actually my first time watching a series like this, and I loved the cultural mix. The story is also easy to follow since the cast is small, which helps you connect more with each character.
If you liked He's Coming to Me or Something in My Room (though that one is a little draggy 😂) I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy this one too. My only complaint is that it felt a little too short for my taste. Ten episodes with just 27 minutes each didn’t feel enough—but to be fair, they did manage to wrap up the major and side plots pretty well within that time.
As for chemistry? Jimmy and his partner in this series have amazing chemistry—honestly, the best I’ve seen from him. They’re adorable together (the height difference? Chef’s kiss). Everyone in the cast did great, but I have to give a special shoutout to Jimmy—he’s improved so much since Why RU, and it really shows here.
Now, about the ending... I wasn’t completely satisfied. It felt a bit rushed and left me with a weird feeling like something was missing. But hey, I’m the type who loves both sad and happy endings, so maybe that’s just me being picky.
All in all, Peach of Time was still such a good watch. If you're in the mood for something emotional, heartfelt, and a bit different, I definitely recommend it. Just go in with an open heart—and don’t expect a fairytale ending. 💔💖

When First Love Transcends Time
First love, soulmates, unresolved feelings, grief, loss, coming-of-age—all in one story 😭I was so lucky to discovered this hidden gem dubbed as Tagalog on YouTube. I've watched the whole thing while working on my computer.
I really loved the location in the early scenes—it reminded me so much of my hometown. That nostalgic vibe just hit different. The movie follows the coming-of-age journey of two best friends who slowly fall for each other. But the catch is… they lived in a time when being gay wasn’t as accepted as it is now. The concept isn’t exactly new, but I don’t know—this one really stuck with me. Maybe because I’m a big fan of Ohm and his acting got me from the start. He’s the kind of actor who always knows how to break my heart—just like he did in Bad Buddy.
What shocked me though is how the second half totally shifts. It’s no longer a BL—it turns into a reincarnation story! I honestly felt a bit robbed, lol. Dew (Ohm) dies and is reincarnated as a girl, and they meet again years later. When I read the plot summary, I really thought they'd reunite as guys. Maybe I should’ve watched the trailer first 😂. Still, no regrets watching it. It’s such a beautiful piece. Prepare yourself though—this one’s a serious emotional roller coaster. Tissues are a must!
Shoutout to the actress who played the girl version of Dew—she really looked like Ohm! Perfect casting. Everyone did great, but Ohm? He’s just on another level. So versatile!

Speedy Cars and Steamy Scenes
I’m not really into sport-themed drama, but I saw some good reviews about this series on YouTube so I thought, why not give it a try? Honestly, it was a bit boring at first, the opening scene was all about racing and I almost tuned out. But wow, I did not expect it to get so exciting a few episodes in. Every time there’s a race, my heart’s racing too literally haha. And it’s not just about racing either. There are a lot of steamy scenes that definitely keep things interesting. When Babe and Charlie first showed up, I wasn’t really feeling it. Charlie seemed a little shady and there was no spark for me. But as the story went on, their chemistry totally grew on me.
As for Babe and Way’s storyline... man, I feel bad for Way. Like, it’s been 10 years and he still hasn’t confessed? That part felt kinda unrealistic, but hey, it made the drama more intense.
Overall, I ended up really enjoying the series. It surprised me in the best way.

Sweet But Not Sugar-Coated
I honestly didn’t expect much at first, but I ended up really enjoying it — glad I gave it a shot because the episodes just keep getting better. I originally watched this for Guide, but I ended up staying for the whole squad.Bake Me Please can be a bit cliché — the classic sunshine guy falls for the cold and grumpy one — but somehow, it still kept me entertained. As painful as some parts are, the series gives off this warm, comforting vibe.
It also touches on how complicated relationships can get, and the emotional struggles that come with being in one. Plus, it dives into the reality of unrequited love — loving someone who just doesn't love you back.
---
What I liked:
✅ There are only a few characters, so the story’s easy to follow.
✅ The production value is pretty solid.
✅ The cinematography is beautiful, and the OST hits just right.
✅ Peach and Chin have decent chemistry — it’s not fiery, but it works.
✅ Everyone did a great job, especially Ohm and Poom, but I have to give a special shoutout to Guide — I just love his accent.
✅ It would've been even better if Poom had more screen time or was one of the main leads.
✅ The love square actually added a little spice without making things toxic.
✅ Supportive grandma
---
What didn’t work for me:
✅ Chin’s character is honestly hard to root for — he's too unreasonable, self-centered, and barely grows throughout the series.
✅ The lack of clear communication (especially on Chin’s end) gets frustrating.
✅ I lowkey wished Peach and Guy were the endgame, but of course that’s not happening — Ohm (Chin) is clearly one of the main leads.
---
Overall, Bake Me Please is a cooking-themed BL with a simple, easy-to-digest plot and easy on the eyes cast. It’s not a masterpiece, but it feels grounded and the casting was on point.
If you’re looking for a BL series you can binge in one sitting without getting emotionally wrecked, give Bake Me Please a shot. 🍰

A Sweet, Spicy Surprise I Didn't See Coming
Why did I sleep on this series?! If I had known it was an enemies-to-lovers story, I would've watched it way sooner, lol! I got hooked right from the first episode.Plawan is a self-proclaimed popular vlogger, but in reality, he's broke. He's clumsy and chaotic, full of crackhead energy which I absolutely love! It's a complete 180 from his character in Pitbabe. On the other hand, Oab owns a famous restaurant and plays a serious, no-nonsense chef who barely smiles. Total opposites.
Plawan might not be good at cooking, but he’s surprisingly sharp when it comes to tasting and analyzing food, which earns him a spot in the training. The tension between him and Oab? So real.
The side couple’s story is also worth watching. JJ and Methas constantly bicker at first, but JJ gradually breaks through Methas’s cold exterior. Their chemistry isn’t exactly explosive, but their story is still captivating. JJ is Methas’ therapist, while Methas is your classic billionaire CEO who believes money solves everything. But when Methas comes in with his nonstop flirting, it’s honestly adorable and had me smiling like a fool. This series really shows how love can change someone.
Now let’s talk about the NC scenes—whoa. Episode 5 has one of the spiciest NCs I’ve ever seen. 🥵 Nothing feels forced, it’s clear that Sailun and Pon are super comfortable with each other, just like in Pit Babe. The scene is short but wild, and the background music gave it a Western movie vibe. Loved it.
There’s a love triangle (even a square at one point), but surprisingly, it’s not toxic at all. Yes, there are a few cliché scenes here and there, but the plot flows really well. The ending felt a little rushed, though.
Acting-wise, everyone delivered. I especially have to give props to Aon, who plays Kluea. I didn’t know this actor before, but he seriously blew me away. He nailed every emotion—even just through his eyes. Also, the OST lineup in this series is chef’s kiss—every track was a joy to hear. The cinematography? Another big plus.
Overall, it totally exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for something light, sweet, and full of lovey-dovey moments, This Love Doesn't Have A Long Beans is a must-watch!

Be Careful With What You Wish For
This movie is really well-done - it's intriguing, thrilling and moves at just the right pace. I haven't seen anything quite like this before, so it feels like a unique experience for me. The twists and turns definitely keep you hooked up from start to finish. There are lots of valuable lessons to take away from this film. One thing that really stood out to me, is the importance of being content with what you have. The characters in this movie are so driven by ambition that they're willing to cross the line - almost like they're selling their souls just to get what they want. And of course, the consequences are heavy.
As for the cast, Vhong Navarro delivered a solid performance. However, I personally found Alex Gonzaga's acting a bit over the top for my taste.

BL with Green Flags And A Cup of Warm Milk
I had no idea Oxygen even existed until I watched Something in My Room (Nut’s other series). Since I love Nut, I figured I’d give this one a try. I didn’t watch the trailer, didn’t read the plot, just dove right in. I wasn’t familiar with the other lead, but their chemistry really surprised me. After just two episodes, I realized Oxygen is definitely one of those hidden gems. Their sweet, casual interactions totally pulled me in. 🥰Solo (Nut) is the introverted, reserved type, a music student with a voice that’s so damn good. I didn’t even know Nut could sing! And of course, he’s as adorable as ever. His character struggles with insomnia and can only sleep after drinking this special warm milk from Gui’s café.
Meanwhile, Gui is this soft, gentle guy who’s always looking out for Solo. He has this green flag energy. He’s like the emotional support boyfriend. 🥹
Now, story-wise, Solo and Gui’s arc is a bit thin. Their connection feels a little rushed, there’s not much build-up but weirdly, I actually prefer that over super slow burn stories. Their chemistry and the cute moments made it totally worth it.
Their backstories were both heartbreaking. Gui grew up in an orphanage, and everyone else got adopted except him. And Solo, he may be rich, but he lost his mom when he was young, and it left him deeply lonely.
Phuri & Kao
Their story is way interesting than the main couple as I’m a sucker for enemies-to-lovers, and they delivered. They bicker, they clash but when things go down, they’ve got each other’s backs. It’s a slow burn, but watching Phu slowly soften for Kao was so satisfying. They actually got me emotional by the end.
Dr. Petch & Khim
Their storyline is quirky and also interesting. Khim is a total fujoshi (into BL), and Dr. Petch pretends to be into guys but he’s really just into Khim.
There’s even a mini love triangle, but I’m glad Guitar didn’t get tangled up with the other guy. The love triangle added just enough spice without being annoying.
What I really appreciated was how the side couples were given enough screen time, but it never felt like filler. And while the show is mostly lighthearted and sweet, there’s still some drama especially with Solo and his dad.
The cinematography and soundtrack? Beautiful. The leads did well with their acting, though I felt some of the side couples were a bit stiff at times. Still, nothing too distracting. There’s definitely room for improvement.
If you're in the mood for something warm, sweet, and feel-good with a little sprinkle of drama, Oxygen is worth a shot. Just watch the first couple episodes and see if it clicks. 💖

Just Plain Awkward
This GL honestly felt like soft p*rn. 😂 The NC scenes were hot, but the acting especially the other lead was kind of stiff. The plot is about two childhood friends who fall in love, but one of them is forced to marry a man. Fast forward two years, the husband becomes disabled and needs a private nurse… and guess who shows up? Yup, it's Nessie, her old flame. 🔥
The story actually had potential, but I just couldn’t get past the awkward acting. It got way too cringey, so I dropped it halfway through.

The Quiet Beauty Of Unrequited Love
It’s not exceptional, but it’s a solid watch and feels pretty realistic. We Best Love follows the classic enemies-to-lovers trope which I’m honestly a sucker for, but this one isn’t too intense. It’s more like, Shuyi dislikes Shide, but Shide is lowkey obsessed and just wants to be near him all the time. 😅 Honestly, Shide’s been totally whipped for Shuyi from the very beginning.Shuyi, meanwhile, is dealing with heartbreak and unexpectedly finds love with someone of the same gender. The plot is simple but meaningful, it touches on unrequited love in a way that feels real and relatable.
So the love triangle (or square?) goes like this: Shuyi likes his childhood friend, Shide likes Shuyi, and Shi Zhe Yu likes Shide. Yep, it’s a whole web of unreturned feelings, which the story really leans into. Shuyi’s confusion about his feelings for Shide is something I think a lot of people can relate to especially since he even dates a girl at one point just to figure things out. But that moment when Shuyi finally confesses to Shide while crying, and then they kiss? I literally giggled, it was so sweet. 🥰
The pacing is good, and the actor who plays Shuyi is honestly great, he nails all the emotional shifts. Same goes for Shide’s actor. And the chemistry? Off the charts.
The ending is open (season 2 continues it), but it works. My only complaint is the visuals, they’re kinda washed out. I’ve noticed this with a lot of Taiwanese dramas, even newer ones. Not sure why they can’t get better quality in that department.
Still, We Best Love is an easy and heartfelt watch with just the right amount of fluff. It’s simple, but it feels genuine.

The First and Probably Last Filipino GL That Was Aired In Local TV
The Rich Man’s Daughter is a Filipino telenovela (or lakorn-style drama, as some might say) that aired on local TV, but I watched all 65 episodes on YouTube since I don’t really watch TV anymore. It’s your typical Filipino drama with lots of twists and turns, but I still got hooked. The story revolves around Jade, the only daughter of a super conservative and wealthy businessman. She’s engaged to a guy, but then she meets Althea, an openly lesbian, and that’s when things really start to get intense. The chemistry between Jade and Althea is undeniable. The kind of subtle tension that builds through glances and smiles, not physical touch (because, yeah, almost none of that here). Still, it’s enough to make you feel all the feels. And yes, they kissed in the end, but it got cut off so fast. 😭
One of the main sources of conflict was Jade’s father, who went to extreme lengths even violence just to break them apart. But in the end, he gave in and accepted their relationship. This show became pretty iconic because it’s actually the first and probably last GL drama that ever aired on Philippine TV.
There were quite a few filler scenes, and some of the episodes were dragging but I get it — it aired on national TV and ran for 65 episodes, so they probably had to stretch it a bit. The production quality and cinematography were excellent, and both lead actresses delivered amazing performances. Due to its success and the chemistry of Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro, they will have an upcoming GL movie this year.
If you're into slow-burn romance with emotional tension and high drama, this one’s worth checking out, just don’t expect a lot of physical affection.

A BL Ghost, Time Travel And Reincarnation In One Story
I honestly didn’t expect much from this series at first, but it turned out to be pretty decent. The first episode felt kind of vague and confusing, but things started to make sense around episode two, and that’s when the thrill kicked in.The Hidden Moon follows five friends who stay in an old house in Chiang Mai for work but mysteriously can’t find their way back to Bangkok. It’s the only ghost BL series I’ve seen so far that actually gave me chills, most others either lean into comedy or end up being overly dramatic. I really liked how the story blends modern-day elements with the old era.
Mas, the main character, has a confusing love-hate dynamic with Khen in the early episodes. At first, he literally tries to kill him, then suddenly starts treating him kindly. His character can be a bit hard to read, and what’s even more puzzling is how Khen just quietly goes along with everything. I’ve seen some people bashing Bing’s character, but honestly, I think he’s just looking out for his friends and trying to break them out of the loop they’re stuck in. He’s just expressive and always thinks about their well-being, and I appreciate that. I kind of predicted the plot twist early on, especially when I noticed how Khen couldn’t be seen by Mas’ friends or family.
As for the chemistry between the leads, it is okay, not super fiery, but not bad either. One of the actors feels a little stiff in some scenes, but this is their first series, so I get it. There’s definitely potential there. The pacing is a bit slow in some parts, but I stayed hooked because I’m a sucker for anything historical and supernatural with a touch of romance.
There are a lot of twists in the story, which sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. The subplot involving Khampuan adds to the creepy vibe, but it didn’t feel fully connected to the main plot.
The visuals are gorgeous, it has this nostalgic, old-film aesthetic that I really loved. The cinematography actually reminded me of I Feel You Linger in the Air. And the OST? Chef’s kiss. It fits the tone of the series perfectly.
What blew my mind is how the series managed to weave together a ghost story, time travel, and even reincarnation by the end in one story. The Hidden Moon definitely has promise. Some scenes could’ve been executed better, and a few parts were confusing, but overall, it’s a solid watch for me. 🌑

Love Behind The Limelight
City of Stars was totally off my radar for the longest time. As someone who's watched hundreds of BL series, I had never even heard of it, not even a whisper on social media. I only discovered it by chance while browsing someone’s watchlist on MDL.I’m a sucker for stories where character is an actor like Top Form, My Stand-In, and Reset but those were close to perfection. City of Stars follows a similar concept, but with a simpler and more realistic storyline. It's about an actor, Fueangnakorn, who falls for an ordinary but adorable guy named Krommattha, a developer for a social media app called Zendaya. They meet at the airport, randomly end up as neighbors, and somehow Krommattha becomes his temporary manager.
To be honest, the first few episodes (1 to 5) felt kind of flat. I even fast-forwarded through some parts. I was close to giving up, but I’m glad I didn’t because it started picking up around episode 6. The story became more engaging, and the chemistry between the leads started to grow on me. They’re both charming in their own ways, though it wasn’t instant fireworks. The kisses and bed scenes, though? Some of the most passionate I’ve seen in a while. 🔥
Acting-wise, they’re decent. I appreciated the inclusion of a transgender woman character in this series. City of Stars is definitely on the softer, slower-paced side, not too fluffy, not too heavy. What I really liked was how the leads communicated with each other. No unnecessary drama, just honest, clear conversations. Plus, they’re both green flags. 💚👏
Of course, the classic conflict for this storyline is the issue of them having relationship with a celebrity similar to it's Lovely Writer, Thamepo, and Only Boo. But love always finds a way. And without spoiling too much, there’s another twist that adds tension. I also appreciated how the show touched on the darker side of fame, especially the issue of obsessive fans.
All in all, it’s not a groundbreaking series, but it’s a decent watch if you’re into something light, slow-burn, and a little different. This series is long but the ending felt rushed to me. If you’re just looking to chill and pass some time, City of Stars might be worth checking out.

Messier Than Ever
Together With Me: The Next Chapter picks up right where Together With Me left off. Knock and Korn are now working and living together—but surprise, surprise, the drama is still just as messy as the first season. There are tons of plot twists that keep things interesting, but I gotta admit, I was really frustrated this time around. One of the main characters cheats again and it is worse because he have sex! And come on, he's not a kid anymore to be so easily manipulated by his boss. To make it worse, three side characters also end up cheating. Honestly, the whole series just feels like it's built around infidelity—and it’s way more intense than in season one.
That said, I did enjoy the love triangle between Farm, Rit, and Bright (Farm's FWB). But I felt so bad for Rit. He was this sweet, innocent boyfriend who ended up getting cheated on—and then cheated back with Farm’s FWB, probably out of spite. It got real messy, real fast. Toxic, even. And to top it off, they were all hooking up with random people through dating apps. Like… I just couldn’t anymore. This series is probably the second messiest BL I’ve ever seen—Only Friends by GMMTV still holds the crown. 😂
There’s also another layer of drama with Korn’s dad, who’s super homophobic and refuses to accept his son. But the scenes between Knock and Korn’s parents? Comedy gold. Every time they run into each other, the banter is hilarious—I couldn’t stop laughing. 😂
Thankfully, by the end, Korn’s dad comes around. He even begs Knock’s dad to forgive Korn and give him a second chance, which was kind of a wholesome moment in the middle of all the chaos.
To be real, this series is not for the faint of heart. If you hate cheating storylines, you might want to skip it. But if you’re like me and secretly enjoy watching messy, toxic drama unfold—you’ll be glued to the screen. 😂

Messy, Real, And Unforgettable
Together With Me is one of those friends-to-lovers stories that really sticks with you. It’s an oldie but definitely a goldie for me. I’ve been wanting to watch it for the longest time but couldn’t find a streaming site—it’s no longer on Netflix. Luckily, I finally found a way to watch it.This isn’t your typical fluffy BL. It leans more into drama, especially with one of the main characters struggling to accept that he’s gay, which honestly still hits close to home for a lot of people today. The story also deals with some heavy themes like cheating, manipulation, and even violence. So, yeah it's not for everyone, especially if you're not into cheating plots. But for me, it adds to the realism of the story.
Knock cheats on his girlfriend with his best friend Korn because he just can't deny his feelings anymore. It's obvious he's really into men. I get that his girlfriend was hurt when she found out, but secretly taking pictures of them kissing and spreading them around campus? That's a big no. And hiring someone to beat up Korn? Definitely crossing the line. At the end of the day, being gay isn’t something you can fix. You can’t change who someone is.
I didn’t like Yihwa at first, she was too nosy and always meddling in everyone’s business. But over time, she grew on me. She turned out to be a real one—loyal to Knock and Korn and always by their side no matter what.
There are a lot of characters in this series. Aside from the main love triangle, there’s also another one involving Farm, Bright, and Prae. But honestly, the one character who’s a total green flag is Fai, she’s hilarious and super lovable. Everyone needs a friend like her.
Visually, the series isn’t the best, it is from 2019 after all, so don’t expect anything high-def. But even with its flaws, I genuinely enjoyed it. It’s a tough watch at times, but it never felt boring. There are lots of twists that keep you hooked.
If you're into something with spice, drama, and some emotional depth, this one’s worth checking out.

Not Love at First Sight But It Grew On Me
I have to admit, the first few scenes didn’t really grab my attention. I actually found them a bit boring, so I dropped it. 😅 But after seeing so many positive reviews and comments about the series, I felt like I owed it another shot… and yep, I came crawling back. Lol!Something in My Room follows the story of Phob, an adorable and charming ghost 👻 with amnesia, who asks for help from Phat, a young guy who seems to have his third eye open because he immediately senses something weird going on in the house from the moment they move in.
The series isn't just spooky, there are also some funny moments early on, especially when Phat starts seeing Phob and Phob starts messing with him through harmless little pranks. The writing and direction are solid, and the cinematography is really well done. The editing is smooth too. Nut, who plays Phob, totally nailed his role—he’s not only a great actor, but seriously, he’s so cute. One of those faces you could just stare at all day, no lie. 😍 Plan, who plays Phat, also did a great job. He kind of reminds me of Apo Nattawin with his visuals.
Now don’t get me wrong, I like both actors individually. But for some reason, I didn’t quite feel the spark between them. I don’t know… something just felt a bit off or missing. Honestly, I felt more chemistry between Phob and Ben. That said, I stuck around for the plot, which really intrigued me.
Though to be fair, the Phob-Ben storyline dragged a bit and felt too long. And the subplot with Luck didn’t really do it for me, it felt kind of disconnected from the main story. I also found the whole love-hate dynamic between Phob and his mom really heartbreaking. I felt so bad for Phob, no child deserves that. But at the same time, I get where the mom is coming from. She had her reasons, and she was just being honest about her emotions.
There were definitely parts that felt flat because of the slow pacing, but I still wanted to see how everything would unfold. Honestly, I think the show could’ve been better if the episodes were a bit shorter. Some parts felt dragged out, with lots of filler and long conversations without much happening.
Even though some people said the ending was sad, I was actually satisfied with it. That final reunion hit the spot after everything they went through. 💙
So if you're into slow-burn stories that have heart and meaning, Something in My Room is definitely worth a try.
