I love First Khaotung!!!!
But, after episode 7 I had the urge to fast forward, the story just wasn't interesting anymore.
I hope their next drama has a better and more engaging script.

As the romance was not really prominent and it focused more on the crimes, I would say yes it was a bit better.

I think it was hinted at, it wasn't really a main point in the story.

Maybe it's because I read the novel beforehand, but ultimately this was a fail for me.

The script writing and editing was just awful.
The romance storyline felt forced.
The characters felt flat. I couldn't connect with the characters at all.
This could have been so much better.

The story kind of lost me in the latter half (especially the side couple).
What kind of writing was this?
I hope they get better written stories in the future.

Yes I hope so too. But rather than rushing into the production of many dramas (like GMMTV currently does), I hope they put more emphasis on quality and storyline. Realistically speaking tho, it might take them some time to give erveryone a drama.

Overall I think the first episode was fine, though I felt like it was a bit rushed and the scene transitions were kind of too quick for me.
I guess it would have been better if the episode were a bit longer than 45 minutes.

An official english version should be out, a quick search and you should be able to find it.



Otherwise I think you can find it on wordpress, I got it through Z-library though.

I liked the first 2 episodes. They did a great job.
So far I prefer the drama over the novel.
I actually hope they get creative and don't follow the novel too closely.

What an emotional roller coaster. It gives such a deep insight into chinese family dynamics and conveys such an important message.

Its a very emotional roller coaster and not really a romance. The main plot is about the older sister of the female lead who died.
So I wouldn't recommend this for someone who wants to watch a romance drama.

It's so much fun to watch the MV, can't wait for the movie!!!

I couldn't really get into it honestly. It wasn't about acting skills or chemistry, they had it for sure. But what the hell was that plot, there was no angst or anticipation, a 10 year old could have written a better story.
Also character developement was nowhere to be seen.
I wouldn't advise to watch it for the story. Do it for Joss, Gavin and maybe Neo but otherwise stay away or lower your expectations.

I was skeptical at first, but I really liked it in the end. Sure the plot has its weaknesses and lots of product placement but you have a unique setting, interesting characters and pretty good kiss scenes and chemistry.
I would say this drama is something in between cute, hot and hilarious—a good watch if you want something simple and relaxing.
