Honestly, I think the writing is unfortunate at this point. If they wanted angst, and I really don't mind angst,…
THIS!!! I see a lot of comments saying that all this angst is necessary and a season with only fluff would have been boring. While I agree with the last point, there's other ways to introduce conflict without making one of the main characters completly unlikable with their actions.
after watching again and letting my anger go I can now understand Ji Woo. When I think about my own experience,…
First of all, thank you for sharing your experience! It did help me to get some insight from JW perspective. Sadly, I think it only makes the sequel worse in term of the story. If JW is really done with SJ, what's even the point of making a season 2 only to ruin the couple previously established. Season 1 ended with the leads finally getting in a relationship together. We didn't even get to see them as a couple that now the writers made them broke up and JW acting like a d*ck by GHOSTHING his boyfriend (on his birthday furtheless). I respect people who enjoy the show, but for me if that's the story they wanted to tell, they should have made a different series and not turned TMS into a dark and depressing BL. Like you said, what SJ is doing right now is making the situation worse. The characters have gone too far in their action and I don't believe in a happy ending or a reedemption arc at this point in the series.
