No because I literally read the novel a long time ago and I can't remember anything. Besides the fact Liao Tingyan is a salty fish (lazy) and Sima Jiao being scary and ruthless. Like I'm just watching it with anxiety every episode, hoping to remember the plot cause I know it's not gonna be all fun and games much long😭😭😭

I'm so attached to this drama😭 the plot, the chemistry and wholesomeness between the leads, im going to miss it when its done😭😭😭

I love the platonic relationship the 3 main leads has, though i ship yi yong and guang yan, im already satisfied with all the bromance scenes lol. 10/10 for me!!! Great message and entertaining characters!!!

I guess my hatred for him stems from how Hou chi "died". No matter how much I'm able to sympathize with Bai Jue and his situation, for me, it doesn't change the fact that till Hou chi died, she cried and was in pain because of Bai Jue. And I just want to say, I really did enjoyed this drama until this part happened. I know Bai Jue went to lengths to save Shang Gu and protect her but I think he went too far, while Shang Gu /Hou chi was left in the dark/suffering, Bai Jue selfishly did what he thought was right for her and maybe he was right, idk, all I know is Hou chi tragically died/disappeared and Shang Gu was left heartbroken. It's just not it for me, it felt so one sided and the ending left me unsatisfied to say the least.

just a little of my pov on this drama: I regret ever watching this drama.
After ep 41, nothing could make me hate the ml more than anything nor can any explanation fix it. I finished the drama but at what cost?? I watched this drama about a year ago or so and till this day, every time I see or think about this drama, I literally start to seethe in anger. I just wish the plot went a different way!!😭😭😭

ok but how am I just realizing that the ml is actually the son from the main characters in Ancient love poetry!!!!!! how did I miss that??!!!

Rewatched it and bro, I love it even more! it's such a MASTERPIECE!!!

this series is SOOOO rewatchable minus the last 2 episodes cause the pain I go through when gu Xiang and Cao Wei Ning dies!!!

Though the ending is "rushed"(last episode), I think it doesn't negate the fact that it's a great drama!! 9/10 for me!!

All I can say is, it's a must watch!!!

I really really liked this drama until the 'hurt you to save you' trope came and ruined everything!! It has a 'happy' ending but it didn't have a pay off for me😭

Honestly watched this drama because it looked really interesting and I ended up loving it, I'm the type to honestly not favor those lover conflict in dramas but I really liked this one, though it had some, it wasn't as stressful as others I've watched:)

And also, I just read the synopsis of this drama, and WHAT? why don't I remember Shen Jin becoming a spy for the emperor? and she solved many of the army's problems??? I know she distracted the enemy in the beginning but not much other than that, did I forget something?? In the beginning, I didn't think of her as a spoiled person, bru her mom and her were mistreated by others.
