IKR, the censorship is too strong. i wish they just learn from korea u know alot of their show give WARNING LABEL about fictional characters and whatnot and allow stuff on the show. i wish chinese govt allow that and de-censor some please. like i know cant EVERYTHING but really some scene are such scene stealer the fans WANTZ IT PLEASE.

yes i did, i was told it was SO GOOD so i tolerated some scene i might alittle bit of plothole or little bit acting-iffy is ok all show have it. but not the ENDEND i skimp thru when she can't act.... BUT from ep 1 i watch till her ">>>background birth reveal<<<" and THAT is when i was so disappointed i skimp thru rest of the eps cause i couldn't feel the angst she suppose to give in that one particular scene... BUT again might because i watch blue whisper FIRST, i think I REALLY SHOULD have watch LBFAD FIRST, blue whisper made me so emotionally roller coaster absorbed that when i watch LBFAD right AFTER immediately like not as impressive acting... so much tears that even though i was so disappointed at the ending but still rewatch it plenty of times and cried with the show many times. but LBFAD i watched once, never went back. i don't mind reading the novel instead though haha! but still i prefer live action... makes u happy when they are bubbly and makes u sad when they're sad and make u so agnsty when the antagonist is so F*** ANNOYING but F*K IMPRESSIVE and the hate u get is like DAM but the impressiveness brings u back. btw the same actress that was bad in BW then good in LFBAD, i rather she traded her position with esther. i think wow the acting would be impressive . but i have to say the TECH team in these show deserve a hard work reward

meteor garden yes, it went thru selection.. but LBFAD didnt went thru selection by the way in case u didnt know.. sometimes they weigh what they bring in for the production instead of the act... other than act u need some connections too.. thats why richer people gets luckier and more exposure faster than norm. they gain popularity faster than regular. they sometimes out pick selection because if they come in they no need worry about fundings and stuff of productions that cost a lot...

er im female and im not sexist =p, comparing the acting in LBFAD esther did indeed didnt do well compare to dylan... or most actress and yes she can improve... just that she got a lot main roles but cant act properly might as well start with supportive roles... many of the supportive characters in the same show act so well

they are very busy people... imagine u have maybe 1million fans, u are a worker right ??? u work everyday tired and home all u just want to do maybe chill with some friends or sleep and rest or do your hobbies, where u get the time to control 1,000,000 of people.... and imagine that on them, they have breaks but they need to work for their roles, or practice lines or prepare for next project.... can't expect much just wish fans can respect their lives properly.... and really say people criticize actress and actors or idols from their fans.... like see what it became of ZZH. omg this point is well made, yeah some ppl have fame but so disappointing when u watch their show, but might also because impacted by other review saying how great a certain show is only to have very high expectation but due to the high expectation u expect everything and gets off-ed when a scene or some actors don't fulfil the expectation u had in mind... thus become more poorly rated on certain show

ohhh so she got famous through variety show.. oh icic, sorry then idk that. but well still in terms of acting she still needs more improvement... u say i made assumption with esther yu, but she don't get pick for main roles through her acting right?? so, still half right about it, she got roles thru money and maybe her popularity to bring in money from variety show gained popularity.... but anyway thanks for correcting me...
my mistake i didn't watch her variety show cause i only watch with actress or singer i know in certain episodes... so i didn't know she had a name made in the variety industry.. she certainly is successful in entrepreneurship and in her own rights she deserve what she earned, what i really mind is that she don't get roles from interview or try outs... but still i really wish she gets supporting role instead like any other actress.... to get main roles like journey to you, LBFAD, sword and fairy... My main point is her career as a actress is what I was complaining about, like e.g. she got popular thru LBFAD she got the role because of investments instead of being handpicked thru suitability of acting.. still, i understand without her the show will be hard to make it as great cgi and awesome props and good director and scriptwriting needs alot money investment too so still grateful of her bringing the show to life, but didn't enjoy much from the show for me.. i was greatly impacted by the scene they discover her backstory is and she don't seem to be able to act the emotion well of her anger and sadness altogether...(no offense, cause i normally feel with the actors but this scene all i could think about is what expression is she making...and nitpicking the scene) thus i was impacted thru this scene mostly and rated the show down from that one scene...
but i have to say in eastern game palace, her role acting suit her very well and act the part im impressed I was able to watch her scene without skipping through.. i finished it pretty well not skipping much of her, and also MIGHT consider rewatching it... which is like wow i never expected i rewatch any of her show, which i normally do for a lot other fantasy drama
