this seems like a nice ending, should I watch the rest? Does it end tragically? No general spoilers, just wanna know if I should end here and keep thinking happy thoughts for this cute couple.
over too soon. Must watch again. Insert crying emoji here.
A few things I wish had happened: more interaction with Shi mok and Seo Don Jae before and after kidnapping but especially after. Less of Hanjo, though I know it was central to the plot and to the point of the red herrings. That they left Han Yeo Jin there and not go back to her precinct but I guess that makes for interesting season 3 character development.
I don't even know how to rate this. I liked it, and you might too, if you can overlook some things. It's as if the writers never considered teamwork of the police as a real thing, or tried to make some of the female leads smart or at least become smarter as time went on, or would stop to think how viewers would respond to how careless the actions were for some of the main leads-continuously putting the Cha Yoo Young in positions where she is by herself with the villains. Or where one detective goes one way, and others go another way, and someone's ends up dead or trapped. Maybe after the first ep, the detective would learn, or have her team leader tell others to not be alone, but nope, they go on and do it to the very end. Detectives just standing around letting others getting killed, or stunned into inaction, or not sharing vital information for any of the investigations-the list goes on.
The story line was fine if not a little convoluted,. The acting was fine, the Guy, was so believable horrendous towards the end. It's just how some of the characters were written to be completely lacking in common sense.
Sound? The only raspy sound (with significance in the investigations) that I can remember was from that other…
the sound as hwang hwa young is being tortured when she's tied up, the sound that Uhm Soo Tak thinks he hears when he's hiding in the church (it's a hallucination, but he thinks The Guy is coming up behind him with that raspy sound). Also one time they show the Guy after listening in to a convo raise his hands sort of link in the air and make the sound, I can't remember who he was listening to or what ep.
did they ever explain what the sound The Guy was making when he was talking and when he was killing, like the raspy sound, was it just an illusion to throw off his prey?
I need a diagram for the killers-not in a bad way, I liked the progression of how the evil spawned more evil in terms of murdering ways. I enjoyed it. A few holes here and there. 9/10
so after the end credits, means they are gonna be bffs? how cute! what a delightful lil drama. I wasn't expecting much from a time-traveling Joseon acupuncture doctor but he really stole my heart.
