I was so into this asadora that I felt like smacking every character except for the MC at the beginning of the dorama! I was cheering for Asa from the beginning until the end. Such a strong and powerful woman!
Accidentally watched this on tv and I am glad that I chose to watch this instead of changing the channel. The movie is slow-paced, but still interesting. There are many unanswered questions, and the storyline is a little bit loose. I am amazed at its cinematography and the places shown in the movie. While the storyline might not be very impactful, the movie itself is beautiful.
I put this drama on hold first because I thought this teacher-student drama is 'cheesy' like the usual j-drama with school background. However, this drama is completely different than the rest. No exaggerated acting (none that I notice of). It goes beyond motivating you, and it is a complete package of feels.
Kawaguchi Haruna performed excellently in this drama. I watched her other 2016 drama, "Tantei no Tantei" and thought she looks awkward in the drama. But, this drama proves her acting abilities. Thumbs up!
Wow, Takeru Sato's acting is just marvelous and splendid! This is a beautiful and aspiring story of a person who matures throughout the drama. And you will love the other characters as well~
I'm actually contemplating whether to watch this drama or not. I'm a big fan of Japanese drama, only and only…
Yeah, I think I have to try watching DOTS before making any assumption. But, I do like the OSTs (they keep popping out here and there). The songs are so good. This is one thing that I enjoy about k-drama. J-drama seems to be lacking of this aspect. XD

Oh, thank you for the recommendation. When I asked for k-drama recommendation from friends, they usually gave romance dramas. I don't usually search for romance dramas and if there is romance, I just gladly enjoy it. So, thank you so much for the recommendation. Will watch it!
I'm actually contemplating whether to watch this drama or not. I'm a big fan of Japanese drama, only and only Japanese drama. I used to watch Korean drama like a couple of years back, but I can't stand the cliché, cheesiness, etc etc. So no k-drama for me, but, i feel like watching this drama due to some good reviews and friend's recommendation.
But, I'm scared of disappointment. What if the drama turns out to be too cheesy for me? What if it isn't as good as people said? Will it be another The Heirs (sorry, folk. This is the last k-drama that I watched, which got so much love from people, but I sadly didn't enjoy it at all)?
p/s: I have all episodes of DOTS stored in my hard drive, but couldn't bring myself to watch.
Wow, that is sure a long list~! Some of my fav mangas are being adapted and I'm looking forward to each of them. Hopefully, they manage to bring out the 'flavours' of the manga. For me, live action is kind of hit or miss. ;)
Excellent! Nounen Rena's acting is very good in this movie. I only watched her in Ama-chan before this and I thought she somehow needed to polish her acting a little bit. But, she doesn't disappoint me! :)
p/s: The male lead is so hot that I, at one point, had to shield my eyes to calm my heart. *hotnessoverload*
Will it turn bad? I'm like 10 minutes into the first episode and I kind of... like it? It's so fresh. Fukushi Sota's acting seems livelier in this drama. But, I just watched 10 minutes of the first episode though... I started to watch this with the mindset that this drama isn't that good (as what people are claiming here), but I kind of having conflicted feelings now. LOL.
-Favourite character died or no longer existed in the remaining episodes
I tend to choose dramas based on actors. Most of the time, I watched dramas where my favourite actors acted as the main roles. Being the supporting characters is fine as long as they have lots of screen time and they undergo some character development instead of being mere sidekicks.
- favourite actors play as villains (Not really being dropped, but just enter the on-hold list)
Example: Bloody Monday (The moment Narimiya entered the scene, I temporarily said goodbye to Bloody Monday for half a year now. My poor heart can't take it.)
I don't really watch K-dramas The last K-drama that I finished is The Heirs and it was being aired at that time, probably a couple of years ago. Because it was so popular at that time, I braced myself to finish the drama. After that, no more K-drama for me and I switched side to J-drama. I just feel that J-drama is more refreshing with less clichés. No offense to K-drama lovers. :)
I started with Keizoku 2: SPEC because I don't think Keizoku and Keizoku 2 are related. Basically, if you want to follow the story of Touma Saya and Sebumi Takeru, you just follow this order:
1. Keizoku 2 : SPEC
2. SPEC ~ Sho
3. SPEC - The Movie
4. SPEC - Close ~ Progress version
5. SPEC - Close ~ Crisscross version
I skipped SPEC zero SP because I already finished the drama and decided not to bother with the prequel. I don't think I miss much.

Btw, thanks for the list~! <3
