Yes, agree. It’s going to be challenging.. Hope she manages well, her role in SH was soft, emotional, don’t remember her action scenes there.it appeared some wanted her role in SH 2.
I am not native, so while checking profiles nothing stands out except 1 or 2 series for both the actress. So I thought so. I assumed they are getting to become famous.
They did JSM dirty,they used her hardwork to give successful lead debut to cameo naksu.They messed up everything…
Also adding to @CandyLand points note AOS success is due to amazing performances by all the actors and to remind few: UK, CP, ParkJIn, Maidservant Kim(What a Lovely Lady !!)and even supporting actors like Danggu, Jinmu, Queen (terrific in last ep), MasterLee, MamaJin indeed need credits. ( I am not naming all, doesnt reduce the importance of others). So Just Chill and I hope S2 becomes even more successful and hopefully all subplots will be resolved.

Nothing against actress, she is a good actress.
May be if she has some supernatural abilities, then she can play more imp role, at least they could have made her Mudeok's good friend and could have supported each other.
