@Synchonicity This is why I blame on the writer/director for ruined the Korn-Knock relationship by added the cheating plot to their story, and to Cho-Yihwa and Farm-Rit-Dr.Bright couple as well. Why use the cheating plot when there are tons of new ideas better than this.

They totally ruined this 3rd season and I am very disappointed and angry at the writer for made all the characters into “out of character”. Especially Yihwa and Korn. In Bad Romance and TWM, Yihwa is a strong-headed girl character, she is not fall in love with a guy she just meet that easily. Even worse, she already had Cho, why the writer make Yihwa starting to like P’Art while dating with Cho? Well, at least she is not sleeping/have sex with P’Art yet, thank god!

As for Farm-Rit, Farm is dating with Rit but still sleeping with Dr.Bright to get his revenge. Out of all character, Farm character is the biggest change in this season. Farm, from an innocent and naive guy to creepy mind player. Farm is so involved in getting his revenge back to Dr.Bright not knowing he using Rit, who is an innocent boy, which Farm could be hurting Rit’s feeling later on.

Last but not least, Korn, why on earth the writer turned the faithful and loveable Korn into a cheater? Why? I just don’t get it! This is so out of his character. Well, I think the writer chose Korn is the one who cheats on purposely, because no matter what later on Knock will forgive him if he beg Knock enough, knowing Knock’s kind-hearted personality guy.

I thought the one would be cheating is Knock with that fangirl WanWan or with their boss P’Pete. If that happen, then would Korn will forgive Knock or break up with Knock just like he broke up with Mew for his cheating in TWM.

Now, as everyone else think it is partially Knock’s fault on Korn’s cheating. Because Knock had been giving Korn a cold shoulder (refused to have sex with Korn), which pushed Korn away to P’Pete. Also everyone else think it’s not entirely Korn fault because Korn was really drunk. To me, if a Korn would have stopped at justing kissing P’Pete, then it might be forgiven, but unfortunately Korn went in all the way, he literally started out kissing P’Pete on the sofa then move to bed for full sex activity. I don’t like and don’t understand why the writer would do this to fans? Why the writer destroyed Korn’s faithful character?

I feel pain for Knock here. What happen when Knock find out from third person and not from Korn? I don’t blame Knock if he asking for a break up with Korn. Yet Korn is not allowing Knock do that either. Cheating is cheating, no matter what Korn’s excuses are. I will not tolerated any cheating/betrayal. What worst, Korn already proposed to Knock with a wedding ring. This ultimate betrayal is NOT ACCEPTABLE! If I were Knock in real life, I would definitely break up with Korn for good. Never forgive him. But of course, the writer are gonna give us fans a “happy ending” to our couple, by have Knock forgive Korn, no matter doing that is being unfair to Knock. If the writer give fans a happy ending then why added the cheating plot to it in the beginning? I HATE THE WRITER/DIRECTOR. This season disappointing me hugely.

Let’s me ask y’all this, have you think this cheating situation in vice versa? That will what happen if Knock were the one who cheat on Korn? With Korn’s petty, jealous and possessive character, I bet Korn will kill Knock with his bare hand……let alone forgive Knock. In my opinion Korn will never forgive Knock and will break up with Knock just like he broke up with Mew for his cheating.

So I guess the writer chose Korn to do the cheating because we expected Knock will forgive Korn if he begging of Knock enough. Knock is a kind-hearted guy and loves Korn so much. So I think it is really unfair for Knock here. Poor Knock, feel so sorry for him very much.

@ElektrionHeart THANK GOD FINALLY SOMEONE HAVE THE SAME THOUGHT LIKE I DO. I agree with you there. Since Bad Romance to this 3rd season, I think Korn character is the CONTROL FREAK to Knock in almost everything. He is so petty sometimes too. I like Knock because he is pure, innocent and faithful. Korn blamed on Knock for tiny mistake and Knock have to apologize to Korn. When it’s okay for him to make big mistake. Korn treating Knock is a shitty way, for example Knock work with Korn because he wants to be with him. Why on earth would Korn be angry to Knock for? (If it were me, I’m not mad at Knock at this) Korn should feel appreciated Knock even more for working with him even though Knock don’t like the job rather be mad at Knock. What were the writer thinking?

I felt it is unfair for Knock if writer let he forgive Korn later. Feel so sorry for Knock that’s why I like Knock more even though he acts childlish and lazy sometimes but he’s pure soul. Whereas Korn, he’s nice and handsome but when he mad, he can be petty and heartless. Knock is nicer and friendlier out of the two.

@KiyatoH Count me in. I am so furious at the writer for turned the loveable faithful character Korn into a cheater. It’s more shocking the writer even let Knock forgive Korn’s cheating act later. When Korn told P’Pete “Don’t tell Knock……” I almost PUNCH MY LAPTOP SCREEN! After ep7, my rating was from 7.9 to 3 now. Blame it on the writer/Director for drop in rating with this horrible cheating story-plot which totally ruined Korn-Knock relationship.

Why added cheating plot to all 3 couples? The director/writer will get heavy criticism for made the characters to “out of character”. It’s not fair for Knock if writer let he forgive Korn, in my opinion. It is a pity for Max-Tul, they are such a good actors and they have great chemistry together. @Not a Robot I totally agree with you. Well wrote there. I think the same thoughts as you too. Korn is a selfish a guy for the way treating to Knock, and a controlled guy on Knock as well. For those reasons you wrote there, how I wish Knock don’t end up together with Korn. Never in a million times I say this but I wish Korn-Knock have sad ending, I wish they break up for good. Am I the only one who don’t want they have happy ending? If the writer let Knock forgive Korn then it IS UNFAIR TO KNOCK, in my opinion.

Why Korn dumped Mew for his cheating and not let Knock dump Korn for his cheating, writer? Why the writer and everyone else expected Knock to forgive Korn? FEEL SORRY FOR KNOCK SO MUCH!

By the way, Tul did an AEWSOME JOB on acting the coming out to parents scene. His facial expression, his tears and his eyes are natural, believable and sincere. I am touched and happy when Knock and the mom were hugging. Great Job Tul!

@minsugapd I wanted to add this fact, in “Together With Me” Korn broke up with Mew for Mew’s cheating. Then Knock SHOULD BREAK UP with Korn for Korn’s cheating too. Drunk or not, lacks of communication or not, or Korn is emotional vulnerability or not, cheating is cheating, betrayal is betrayal, NO EXCUSES FOR CHEATING. What pains most for Knock is Korn already proposed to Knock with a wedding ring. Why would Korn have sex with that old gay boss P’Pete? Just because Knock refused to have sex with Korn, doesn’t mean it’s alright for Korn to go find other guy to get laid. If Korn just stop at the kissing part and not advance any further, then Korn might be forgiven but noooo, Korn have sex with the boss from sofa move all the way to bed. This cheating is not ACCEPTABLE!! If the writer let Knock forgive Korn later on, then IT IS UNFAIR FOR KNOCK, in my opinion. I’m gonna hate the writer so much if that happens. Am I the only one who really wish Knock don’t forgive Korn no matter how much Korn begging of Knock. I wish Knock should break up with Korn for good. I wish they have a sad ending by breaking it up. Once a cheater, always a cheater, Korn will cheat on Knock again in the future so it’s better for both sides to just break it up from here. Seeing Korn kissed Knock made my stomach sick and throw up. On the side note: I don’t know whether the director did on purpose or not but the significance number “7” of “Korn7Knock”. Rather “Korn7Knock” but they have “Korn7Pete” on episode “7”. How CRUEL DIRECTOR DID THIS TO FANS!

@TV Thunder team/Director/writer:
YOU ARE LOOSING FANS/VIEWERS/RATING IF the team production contiune these cheating plot further more. THE TEAM/DIRECTOR ARE BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO THE Korn-Knock FANS. We hate the team/writer now for adding the cheating issue to the story plot. Seriously, real life relationship IS NOT JUST ABOUT CHEATING OKAY? Can the writer come up with more creative way other than just cheating? Fans are so disappointed with the director/writers NOW, do you hear?!

Even if Knock forgive Korn later and they have a happy ending, I WILL NOT FORGIVE KORN FOR WHAT HE DID!! KORN’S BETRAYAL WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN!!! I SEE KORN-KNOCK IS NOT THE SAME ANYMORE. FANS LOST THAT TRUST IN OUR BL COUPLE. It like the writers are sending the message to fans that “human make mistakes, human is not prefect, or it’s okay to cheat on and be easily forgive if love is strong enough.” Well, let’s me tell ya, writer, ANYTHING CAN BE FORGIVEN EXCEPT BETRAYAL!! How can a couple get back together once that trust is broken? This message is not ACCEPTABLE!! I’m trying to express that the writer/director had made a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT/FAILURE to the K-K story-line on how you wrote the story-plot of this 3rd season. We ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE STORY LINE SINCE EP1, team production, Do you hear??!! And don’t you dare said this is more a “realistic relationship”. The answer it’s NOT, let’s me tell ya, this IS NOT HOW REAL Relationship LIFE LIKE. There are more things happen other than cheating plot there. Seriously, I thought the writer could come up better creative way than cheating plot? There are tons of new ideas out there, not just cheating, writer. You had made a Failure story-plot and fans are so frustrated with the team now.

Of course, the team/director just don’t care about fans’ feeling, y’all was like “take it or leave it” attitude to the fans. The writer is so cruel to fans. You are loosing viewers /rating for sure. Max-Tul have such a good chemistry and it’s a pity that they have HORRIBLE CRAPPY STORY-PLOT to deal with. The team had completely RUINED this 3rd season based on the story-plot. I would have thought the writers can come up with a better way other than as it is now. Such a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT SEASON!!! I don’t blame on the actors, Max-Tul just doing their job. But I blame on the writer/director for going too far/too much on this so called “realistic relationship”.

Many of the comments here said, that Knock does cheat on Pleng with Korn. My thought screams: it’s a different cheating so it not really counts. Why? First, Knock just date Pleng for 1 month. Second, Knock DID NOT HAVE SEX/SLEEP WITH PLENG. All they do is just holding hands. ON THE OTHER HAND, what Korn did is considered CHEATING, PERIOD!! Why? First, Korn date Knock for 3 years. Second, Korn PROPOSED TO KNOCK with a WEDDING RING. Third, Korn should felt how much it hurst to be cheated on by your boyfriend. If Mew cheated on Korn with other guy, and Korn dumbed Mew. Knock should dumb Korn the same.

Never in a millions times that I thought this but I wish Korn-Knock have a sad ending, they should break up forever for good. Knock should never forgive Korn for what Korn did. If the writer decided to let Knock forgive Korn later and they have a happy ending then I AM REALLY UPSET AND MAD AT THE WRITER FOR THIS!! Cause I will never forgive Korn’s cheating/betrayal! And if Knock do forgive Korn because he loves Korn too much then I would Kudos to Knock for his generosity for it.

Let’s me ask you this: what happen if Knock is the one who cheat on Korn? Will your reaction expect Korn to forgive Knock’s cheating? Or y’all want Korn to break up with Knock for good? Then why expect Knock to forgive Korn? Don’t tell me it’s because Knock been giving Korn a cold shoulder(refused to have sex with Korn), which drive Korn away to have sex with that boss P’Pete? Don’t tell me that Korn’s cheating is partially on Knock’s fault? My thought is NO! Is not Knock’s fault. It’s Korn’s fault.

This is why I blame on the writer/Director for screwing the Korn-Knock story-Line by adding the cheating issue. There are tons of other ideas better than this. They made this 3rd season a huge disappointment! That’s why the rating went down to from 7.5 to 7.2 after ep7.

@Demy_Martin I see and understand on what you wrote there. So in this 3rd season , Korn’s older sister , Kavitra, is being kicked out of family by dad for choosing to be with her student, Phu. Dad is not approved of her relationship with Phu(teacher with student relationship is against the norm of society). So dad kicked her out of family for real, that’s why when Korn’s dad phrased to Korn “being my only daughter”, implied that he don’t considered Kavitra as his daughter anymore. This pressure made Korn is so afraid to come out to his dad for feared he is gonna get kick out of family just like his older sister, Kavitra for being with Phu.

I understand that but one thing I wanted to add, if Korn knew his dad personality against to all “abnormal relationship”, then Korn DON’T PROPOSED to Knock from the beginning. What’s the point of proposed to your lover and don’t tell your family about your proposal. I can see why Knock is upset at Korn in this situation. If I were Knock, I would be upset at Korn too. (I’m a girl, you don’t want your boyfriend proposed to you and don’t let his family know. ) I am on Knock’s side since Bad Romance to this 3rd season, I mean Korn practically turned Knock from straight guy to gay, Korn stole Pleng’s boyfriend , proposed to Knock , they dating for 3 years, and in the end, Korn not telling his family? Do Korn want to hide their relationship from public and family forever? This is why Knock feel stressed about the way Korn’s behavior and “not in a mood” have sex with Korn,

Knock was about to tell his parents when he went to his house in ep4, if it’s not for that fangirl WanWan interrupted there. And now, Korn is kissing their gay boss P’Pete? WHAT THE CRAP??!! Just because Knock refused to have sex with Korn, because Knock is upset at Korn about the dad issue. Doesn’t mean it’s alright for Korn to go find other guy to get laid. NO EXCUSES FOR CHEATING!!! Don’t matter how that boss is trying to seduce/get Korn drunk and take advantages while Korn drunk, no excuses mean NO EXCUSES!! I don’t blame Knock if he ask to break up with Korn later in episode. Which Korn isn’t allowing/letting Knock to break up with him either. Korn isn’t let Knock go nor announce their relationship to public. Korn just want to Knock in secret. Another thing, Korn is a control freak, he controlled Knock a lot, made decision for Knock. Poor my Knock. Korn is so petty sometimes. Korn blamed Knock for working with him is TOTALLY NOT MAKING ANY SENSE!! (If my boyfriend worked with me because he wants to be with me, I will feel touched by his effort and appreciated him even more. ) Not angry at him like Korn does to Knock. Geez…in this season, I feel so sorry for my poor Knock and Cho as well. Yihwa, bitch, Cho is a good and smart boyfriend and he respects you, what more do you want girl?

Another thing, when that gay boss P’Pete is trying to take the drunk Knock to his own home, maybe he plan to touch/kiss Knock while he’s drunk. But Knock refused and said “I don’t want to make Korn thought I’m cheating.” , and went to Fai’s house instead. This is a character development of how Knock is aware on how Korn’s picky jealousy personality. Knock learned his mistake from Bad Romance with Cho incident. I like this part and makes me love Knock character even more. If that gay boss seduce Korn or take advantage on Korn while Korn drunk, Korn should refuse him just like Knock refused that boss. Unfortunately, Korn fall for that boss trap and kiss him in preview of ep7.

@Freya Harold Excellent review you wrote here and I have the exactly same thoughts too. Thank you for pointing those problems out. One thing I would like to add that is this Next Chapter is not for high school teenage audience but more to mature audience. I have to say, the script-writer, director and the crew did an awesome job on sending the message to audience that any real life relationship have hardships and problems to face not the lovely-dovey dreamy fantasy in movie. What makes this series stands out from other typically BL series, is the realistic story-plot unlike the story-plot of “2 Moon” or “Love by Chance”, which I find it’s a bit of childish and too cheesy( I’m talking about the script here).

I feel like the director and writers are making fans feeling anxious at each episode coming, like they wanting the fans feel like sitting on the fire with emotion.

In my opinion, Korn is being too mean to Knock in ep6. Korn should get his shit together or else I won't blame if knock wants to brake up later…SERIOUSLY…I'm all on Knock’s side and why? Because Knock left his girlfriend for Korn, became gay openly without reservations, worked at a place he doesn't like just to be with Korn and what does he get in return?? NOTHING! Except for Knock being Kicked out of the house by Korn, forced to lie to his family and have to pretend to be with that WanWan fangirl, yelled at for working there by Korn even Knock apologized to Korn 10 times already, and being cheated on by Korn with gay boss P’Pete…. blows after blows. What’s really WORST?? Is that Korn already PROPOSED to KNOCK and they been together for 3 yrs and Korn not telling his family a thing about Knock. If I were in Knock's shoe, I would be mad and disappointed at Korn too. Knock did tried to tell Korn about the dad issue and the set up with WanWan fangirl but Korn just won’t listen. Even in Bad Romance, Korn is being too mean to Knock as well.

In my opinion, just because Knock don’t want to have sex with Korn, it doesn’t mean it’s okay for Korn to go find other guy to get laid?! NO EXCUSES on CHEATING KORN! Knock is not in a mood because he is stressed out of Korn for hiding their relationship from the dad. For instance, “oh if my boyfriend wants to have sex with me but I rejected him, so it’s alright for him to go find other girl to get laid?” What kind of a relationship is that? Is it based on sex only? I don’t like Korn character and the way he treated Knock like that. Korn is angry and blaming on Knock for tiny mistake that Knock made while it’s okay for him to make mistakes.

I think they should RENAME the title to “BAD ROMANCE THE CHEATING CHAPTER”. Yihwa cheat on Cho with her boss P’Art, Farm cheat on Rit with Dr.Bright and now Korn cheat on Knock with gay boss P’Pete. There…3 cheaters from 3 couples.

Have you guys noticed, that Farm and Dr.Bright have more kissing scenes than Korn-Knock have. I feel sorry for Cho and Knock here. Yihwa and Korn are so wrong here. In ep7 preview, I am sorry but I want to SLAP Korn and Yihwa to wake them in the head.

@CrescentMoon No, Knock was ready to tell his parents too. Like for example, in Ep5, when Knock went to his house too see his parents, he was ready to tell them then if it’s not for the fan girl appeared there. I just don’t like the way Korn treated Knock, like to hid your lover/relationship from your parent. I felt sorry for Knock to have to endure this hidden love because of Korn. I mean, come on, Korn already proposed Knock here. And they been in a relationship for 3 yrs now. What’s the whole point of you proposed to someone and don’t tell your parents of your lover is? What’s worst, they’re dating for 3 yrs now. Knock is the one who got hurt the most.

I don’t pressure Korn but if Korn don’t have the “gut” to tell his parent, then don’t propose to Knock at all from the beginning. I felt like Knock is the one who is being more suffered here. Korn needs to step up for his love, if Korn don’t do that then Korn don’t love Knock as deeply as Knock loved Korn.

Even in Bad Romance, I’m on Knock side, Korn don’t open his relationship caused Knock feel upset and party and got drunk. Knock’s behave like this is caused by Korn’s attitude.

Yeah, I am on Knock side this time, Korn is so selfish and he just thinks for himself sometimes. Korn ALREADY PROPOSED to KNOCK so why not coming out to his family yet? If Korn is not ready to come out then don’t propose to Knock in the beginning! I felt like it was Korn is the one putting Knock in a position of enduring all this pain of hidden/secret relationship. Korn is ruining their relationship here. And as for the Y girl, WanWan, she used all her chances to seduce Knock, even Knock tried to tell Korn about her hitting on him. Last but not least, the gay boss Pete, I don’t know what his motive? Pete is pretending to look nice in front of Korn while trying to make Knock look bad in front of Korn, at first I though Pete likes Knock, but NO he was trying to get Korn. As for Yihwa, girl, don’t be cheating on Cho. P’Art is such a control freak, don’t date him, he’ll control you at every step. Unlike Cho who treated you with respect Yihwa. You’ll regret later if you choose to cheat on Cho. As for Cho, man, how I love him from Bad Romance to Next Chapter! Cho and Fai are the only 2 characters that are not messed up right now. Even Cho releaized the boss Pete is gay too. The rollarcoster is going DOWN RIGHT NOW. If later Knock choose to break up with Korn, I DON’T BLAME HIM WHATSOEVER.

I don’t know what about you guys but I enjoyed Ep 4 as in character development and story-plot development and Tul’s improved acting. In Ep4, I was really impressed on Knock character and acting there.

For character development, it carry over from Bad Romance to this 3rd season, for example, when Knock was drunk, the boss was about to take him home but he learned his mistake and still aware that “Korn thought he’s cheating”, so he refused the boss. Knock don’t want Korn to misunderstanding him. This is what I really want to see. How smart and detail on the director and script-writer for address this problem from Bad Romance to Next Chapter.

For the story-plot development, the part when two family having a dinner together was hilarious too. Love how the two dads constantly arguing each other. Love the part when Korn gets jealous when on of the fan girl take advantages of Knock when pretending Knock’s girlfriend. It seems like Knock’s parent kinda except the K-K relationship (especially Knock’s mom). Love it when Korn get jealous, the more Korn jealous means the more he loves Knock. But don’t worry honey, Knock is super loyal to you.

Tul’s acting is impressive in Ep4, I loved his acting and love Knock character even more due to Tul’s sincerely acting. When the scene Knock woke up from drunk in bed with Fai wiping off his chest, I have to say Knock looks sexy when he half-naked, (no wonder why Korn is horny all the time just by looking at Knock’s body). When Knock refused to go home with Korn, his expression is hurt, agonizing and distress that he almost cry. Knock must be tired of this “hidden relationship from parents”. Poor Knock.

Another thing, in the scene when Knock was vomiting with Korn stand beside to help, is it just me? or Max-Tul Chemistry is very affectionate and feel REAL. This scene I felt Korn loves Knock very much even when they are arguing. Love how Cho just standing there looking at them. Love Cho character too, he is so chill and cool. Like that angry co-worker guy, his angry expressions crack me up, it seems the director gonna make him the villain character.

Overall, I love how the director and writer show us the plot development in Ep4. It addressed old problems from Bad Romance and open new problems for future episodes to come. Good Job director and keep it that way, production. Good acting Tul in Ep4.
