yes, it's a love that spans tens of thousands of years. During that they suffer from various obstacles. i.e. I believe at one point in their second life, the ML (Bai Jue) was going marry the villainous Heavenly Empress's daughter. Don't quote me on it though cause I read the novel quite a while ago.
