The story will be even more complete if there's 10/12 episodes. Some character feel like it was just there as a placeholder. It would be really interesting if we get to dive more deep into Lukjan's and Tokyo's side of story.

I read somewhere and find that explanations make sense. That person wrote it was because of his upbringing, no one teach him the way of showing love and his father likes to slap or hit him. He might be craving for his father's acknowledgement of him and that parental love of his so he mistook his father hit him = love him so it makes him think doing violent act = showing love. I hope that makes sense.
