Ep 6 made me breathless, squealing to the highest octaves! Too good!! 10000/10.

This series is really good. But there are a couple of plot issues I don't get. 1) I'm not sure if Jom is just…
Jom is already being shunned by the people from the events that take place at the start. He already did ask around for handphone to contact, see the newspaper, asked Ming about the year, tried to go to the police. How is he supposed to make people believe that he comes from the future? He is still trying to understand what is happening. Maybe he pretended to lose his memory to not be seen as an insane person?
The flashbacks show that Jom knew about all that he went through. He even tried to dive back into the water on his own lmao. More importantly as the story unfolds, he recognises the familiar faces like his sister, ex, the guy in his dreams & the renovated house. How do you advice him to get back to his time period? It was clear he is unable to do that. As others have said, he soons found out that when he draws, he encounter new experiences which might give an answer to all this confusion.
Just some thoughts i want to share & it doesn't have to make sense to the story. This series gives off a mystical vibe, it has a supernatural element which captured my interest. Plumeria flower which is used in this series also known as frangipani. There is significance in many cultures/folklores around the world. The Flower of love and death.
In Buddhism, the flowers signify immortality as the plant can bear flowers even after it is uprooted. It also symbolises new beginnings, good luck & long lasting love.
According to superstition, the frangipani tree is said to be the home of a vampire ghost in some folklore. It is attracted to the fragrance of the frangipani flower. The white variety of plumeria is associated with funerals & death in some cultures.
There is also a believe of forest spirits/elves. They inhabit the deep forests or high mountains. Some are even said to share the same houses as human families. There are portals to enter to the other world. They have a very close resemblance to humans with similar social strutures (families,communities,royalty etc) but in a different dimension & time. They are described as very beautiful beings, adorned with beautiful garments, bodies like white fog, alluring & enchanting. I don't want to get too deep into it but it is very interesting to me.
No amount of censorship will make me believe this is just a friendship or bromance. Too many details and nuances are scattered across every episode. They progressed from enemies, to friends, to lovers. The cast and production delivered creatively and successfully. I am beyond happy. I swear this was the most unexpected discovery of the year for me. I never knew this series existed until I stumble upon a video of them cycling together on the bicycle. What an iconic scene. Their uniforms reminded me of Addicted so I went to check it out. Now it has become one of my favourites, close to heart (‘:
