I love this series so much i feel like they can keep going with the story? I didn't want it to end. I can watch another 15 episodes. Maybe i just love the casts in this because of their great acting.
Still have not fully finish the series after watching the spoilers. It just shows how much this series has affected me deeply. It is painfully beautiful. I will never look at a teddy bear the same again. Tofu is a reminder for me to never neglect the child within as i grow older. That is where true happiness lies.
This series just hits me to the core. I can relate to Nut's struggle as a gay guy growing up being bullied by homophobes. The worst is not being accepted by your own family. Coming out is a difficult process for many. Like Nut, all of the trauma and shame took a toll on my self-esteem.
You have to learn to love yourself which is the hardest thing. You have to learn to be kind to yourself. You have to learn to forgive. Self-loathing is real. Internalised homophobia is real. The pain is real. Nut's story is not just mine but many people out there. People who faced hardship just for being LGBT, who grows up in a dysfunctional family, who is discriminated by society. It takes a lot of courage to be yourself in a world that constantly puts you down. You can't simply equate emotional pain to broken bones. Healing takes as long as it takes. The hardest part of healing is the realisation that you can heal from your pain. We need more Taohu and Tathan in this world. That's all i'm saying.
I love that this series fleshes out everything from what the characters are thinking to the advices they give. There's so much depth in their conversations. There's so much truth in it.
I’ve only watch till ep 9. I’m just imagining If tarn wakes up and nothing happens to Tofu as he remains a human. Then somehow Nut will find out about Tarn from Prib. I don’t know what happened to Nut and Tarn. Nut seems to miss their relationship as they were filming in school but at the same time he was triggered a lot from the past episodes as Tofu’s actions reminded him of Tarn. It would be interesting to see Tofu, Nut & Tarn in a scene together. If Tofu turns back to a teddy bear please let me keep it ^^
That's just you then because i find Nut to be really attractive. They are casted perfectly because they contrast…
Yea their contrast is what i love about them. Character wise Tofu is naive, child-like and a ball of sunshine. Nut even with his baby face gives off this presence of someone who is stern, impatient and dominant. He doesn’t smile much. But when he does it is the sweetest thing. I love them so much 🥺
Ep 9 surprised me , it was the best episode so far, there is honesty and a plot that I've never seen in bl before,…
That's just you then because i find Nut to be really attractive. They are casted perfectly because they contrast each other. Maybe he's just an amazing actor that you dislike him so much. You can dislike a character, but to dislike an actor based on his looks? You're just being shallow like you said.
“The path of happiness might start with a nightmare. But we have to wake up eventually. We might miss a person who’s far away, but we shouldn’t overlook the people close to us.” Tofu
In ep 8 you can see the shift in Nut and his mother’s state of mind. Tofu and the others have been great support for them to stop their self-perpetuating cycle of pain. What has to come first is the actualisation that they have a problem.
It’s so beautiful to see the development in the characters. I can relate to their pain and their stories. Well-written drama.
Thank you Kensit for knocking some sense into your temperamental friend. Every word he spoke was brilliant. That scene where Tofu left was powerful. He is becoming more human by the minute and not just a passive teddy bear. Now hoping for Nut to change for the better and start the healing process as we uncover more truths and unanswered questions.
Didn’t expect it to be this good, well acted by Nut and Tofu. I like the mix of fantasy and realism. It’s a very long drama 16ep 1hr+ each? Not complaining but i’m curious how the story unfolds ^^
The budget! Maserati is their sponsor so no surprise. Apo and Mile are such a hot pairing & funny too! The bond between Porsche and his brother was so touching. I am very satisfied with what the series is showcasing.
There were cute moments, had potential but the story is just meh. Not something i would rewatch. I rather watch the force-book show on youtube, just them hanging out together in real life which is way more entertaining.
