Like you said, even the female lead looks like she's in her early twenties,So she's not fit for that role but no one mentions this. Everyone is focused on ML looking younger for the role, when that was the whole point of the story. He's not meant to fit his character’s age. Whether the time jump is 7 or 27 years, how does that matter? It doesn’t concern the story at all.Like you said, he would still be the boss. So I find all this complain bullshit.

People who say they like it just want to be different. Even if I ignore the unbearable characters, the drama was repetitive. I can divide it into three sections, and each one has the same thing happening. A 12-episode drama felt like a 40-episode one.

I don’t know about others, but I’m really liking him in this role. No 30+ actor would look good fighting a kid for a toy on the street.

See, people are hating on that drama because of the theme,because they don’t like the actors' looks or the FL's acting. Yet, that drama still has more viewers than this one. Even a school setting with nugu actors has more viewers than this one.

I already said in my comment that a number of people would be very active with this drama and it happened, but the overall business won’t be good. 6K is very low for a K-drama with a renowned actress in a school themed setting. Many upcoming dramas already have more viewers than that

That’s the point. Every industry has its target audience and kdramas have always been made to cater to their preferences. If they suddenly try a completely different theme with shitty writing that their audience can’t connect to, the ratings will naturally reflect that. I believe that not everything different is "unique". The rating for the drama is justified.

I've never seen such a bad actor in Korea. Yes, there have been some one-dimensional actors in the past but no one was this bad. What’s even more upsetting is that it’s clear she got the role through connections, taking a huge opportunity away from someone truly talented. Any other actress could have played the role better than her. Even the SFL was so good.

I watched it while it was airing and no one thought that way. Everyone was bashing her for both her character and her acting. Some defended her because they didn’t like seeing a woman get bashed but honestly, if she’s making tons of money doing a terrible job, she deserved all the criticism
