ending: Bai Yue and Ye Xi end up together without Cangqi.
Cangqi here is...man they like completely turned him into an unessecarry character. Hashtag Justice for Cangqi man... But yeah, unlike the novel, there is no love between him and Ye Xi. There is no joining hands with Bai Yue, just him alone til the end. I wonder why they changed it. Censors?

If you wanted the book ending/lovelines, this drama doesn't have it.

Ok so I just watched a trailer, here's what I got: So all the people who roam Jianghu count on fishing to live, and this one dude who looks p dang well off ends up on this one island that he's only heard legends of, and then it seems like the head of the island sends FL after ML to kill him because they have a rule that outsiders are not allowed, and then I assume he strikes a deal to not tell and begs her to not kill her because they're always together in the rest of the trailer, and then he thinks to himself: "QingQing, you can watch me, I can't escape from the palm of your hand." (WEW THE BOI IN LOVE)

I'm so confused I literally could not find anything on the synopsis... I found a short novel with the same title...but upon reading it...it's in the modern times... hold my beer imma do some diving on bilibili etc

I don't think it will follow the book. In the book she loves both, in this series she has no love towards Cangqi. In the book it's a happy ending, I don't know if the series will be.
