yes... the ending needs lots of manual thinking and thoughts..
..also the ED song and no credits roll maybe were cut on broadcast..
unlike in jdramas that have song plays complete while ending or epilogue is playing

it was not necessarily the minute of the incident...it can be the event before,,since if he dies before...so he cant make Saet Byul drown in the water..

He realized this..and not the one that he must commit suicide after he already knows Saetbyul was alive...also the prophecy breaks and not come true
so everybody were alive

the ending,

1. Dong Chan is alive im 80% sure (see the scene where Dong Ho released in prison but he was barely visible)
the suicide attempt probably failed due to SB's mom arrived in time and convinced him not to die, but it will contradict the shaman's stup^d prophecy (let assume the prophecy fails this time)

ps: i think he rewrote the ending of the fairy tales book, i dont know if that matters

2. President's Son and other probably will go to prison since the president's reveals the family crime on live TV, he will probably resign too

3. the too much plot twist at the last minute end gave me headache thinking if the story were still credible from episode 1 onwards...im not really sure...since time travel concept often have paradox....maybe a second view in the future

4. a nice complete ending song w/ credits roll w/ extra mini scenes of after events may help...atleast to make everybody happy^^
