If we don't apply our own views and thoughts, what's the point in watching a drama.
??? I literally said its a story and then you said you see it as fictional and now youre saying these are different things? Whats clear is that you have no idea what you even just said
It's honestly baffling to me the number of comments that think cheating is being condoned or that the writing is poor just because the characters don't meet their moral standards. Its a story, the characters are clearly not perfect, and the show doesn't try to hide it.
Oof I was hoping they wouldn't try to insert romance into the drama. Also ngl the drama's getting a little boring…
I don't mind the romance - the issue for me is that the sports part of the drama is incredibly stale. They don't explain anything, it's just "Can this player beat this player"? The best part of the show is its slice of life aspects, and when that goes it just becomes the most cliche sports drama ever.
For those on the fence because of "racism" please just watch episode 5 and decide for yourself. All it was, were negative traits painted on a fictional team for the sake of plot. You are doing yourself a disservice by missing out on this show.
If you think India is being portrayed that way, then defend your country. It is Indonesians right to also defend…
Its a drama, not a depiction of real events. they may exaggerate for the purpose of the show, but the hostility portrayed is mainly intended as competitive against an opposing team. It has nothing to do with race. They could've made them Korean but it was an international stage so they just decided to make them Indonesian. If anything they are showing that Indonesia is one of the top countries in the sport - but no, you guys need to get offended and twist everything.
It can be a little corny at times, and the story isn't the most original, but the production value is so high for a Korean drama that I don't really care.
You can't say "The story is poor because the characters did something I didn't like" is an opinion.
