to watch let's eat 3, do i need to watch let's eat s1 n 2??
late response sorry! I would say no, you don't have to. You won't miss much in terms of the plot itself, it's a whole new story in that sense. But people really love those earlier seasons and they do show a bit more of the character that's fun, so I would suggest those too if you'd like :)

"the same way I feel when I've had a chance to spend time with a friend I really, really love, someone who I know…
Thank you!! I’m so happy I’m not the only one who felt this way about it :)

I LOVE this whole take on the Hana Yori Dango situation. It's crossed my mind more than once too to wonder just why it works, despite everything. Plus, you're hilarious!

Thank you for such a thoughtful article. I think this is the ultimate compliment for the creative teams that constructed these stories... to have their words resonate with us viewers to the point of inspiring self reflection.

It moves the art form beyond the realm of entertainment and into something even more compelling that can connect us all on a human level. I love it, thank you :)

Great article! I'm enjoying this show a lot, especially after reading the webtoon.

Even without the focus on bullying, I feel like the way women are taught to base our value on our appearance is so damaging, and this drama does a great job of capturing what it's like when your self esteem is just decimated because of it.

I can see why some might find Mirae's personality frustrating, but I see myself in her for the same reasons. And that makes it even more powerful when the writing sets up these moments for her to fight back, and speak out to stand up for herself (which the drama is doing better/more often than the webtoon imo).

I'm with you, really having fun watching this drama so far! Cha Eun Woo really looks like a character from a manhwa, it's amazing.

I went back and read the webtoon because I was enjoying the drama so much, and both are great. It's fun to see what matches up in both versions and what has been changed. The tweaks that the show's creative team have made are smart. I especially like that they give Mirae a lot more agency and that she gets to fight back a bit more, to stand up for herself a bit more.

Great post!! I love the way you connected it to Just Between Lovers and Come and Hug Me as a healing drama. I hadn't considered it from that perspective, and you're so right.

I'm enjoying this drama so far too, for all the reasons you've detailed. The only thing I'd add is: PAENG!
