A fantastic watch. It was like reading a well written book that you can't put down. The values of family, loyalty, kindness were rich in the entire series. The women were strong, independent and intelligent.
While it lacked in some aspects, it was an altogether worthwhile watch. The fight scenes were done well, the dialogues were meaningful, every scene was not wasted, every character contributed to a story unfolding before your eyes.
Hesitant at first to start it because it had 40 episodes which I found too long and daunting. But I binged watched it in 3 days between work and chores. Time well spent indeed.
ugh. just reading about it now and am in shock! this is probably as huge as Zhang Ziyi's prostitution scandal years back. It is only now that Zhang Ziyi is coming back.
but I will be happy with my Wang-Wang couple. they are <3
I am only on episode 3 but I hate the main lead. He is so manipulative and toxic. Does he redeem himself?
Give it a few more eps. He becomes the sweetest, most caring, "I will do everything for you" BF. I actually like that he gives her the freedom to be who she wants to be in the workplace. He is far from manipulative in that sense.
I think it can stand on its own and you can actually watch it first then watch Season 1. This one is like a prequel…
However, in future eps, the timeline may cross and intersect with the Season 1 timeline so that's a consideration to watch the first season ahead. We are only on ep 8 and I don't know the span of time this season covers. haven't read the books.
HELPdo i have to season 1 before watching this ?????
I think it can stand on its own and you can actually watch it first then watch Season 1. This one is like a prequel to the first one, with the timeline of the beginning eps happening before events of Season 1. But you may appreciate the characterization more in this season if you watch the first season. Up to you. But to answer your question, yes, you can go ahead and dive into this as you please.
"I found him on the way home. Isn't he pretty?" My favorite lol scene so far.
hahaha. am enjoying the eps, surprisingly. am not a fan of the FL but this role suits her, I think. She's not just a Barbie doll here. everyone is so beautiful in this drama, even the men!

and them giggling and smiling to themselves, giddy like us, is too cute!

But I read somewhere Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang (both from Love 020) have been cast. Not true?
is it a fun watch? am contemplating if I should start

My favorite lol scene so far.
Healer is somewhat a revenge plot. Plus is that JCW stars in it.
Start with It's OK That's Love for JIS. Won't be too heavy, before you plunge into the melodrama.
