can anyone tell me if this has any collab with Atlus, or if everything is just a sort of tribute to Persona 5? either way, the joy I felt when I made the connections to the game!

This has made me so sad. South Korea's war on drugs is so extreme, and the punishment for using even cannabis (which is, you know, legal in other parts of the world) is completely insane. The fact that he chose to end his life instead of spend it in prison is just so tragic and shows that SK really need to get a grip on the attitude towards drugs and punishment.

I'm gonna ruffle feathers here but one episode in and I already prefer this over the Japanese adaption.
The thing people need to remember is that this is not a remake of the Japanese series, it's an adaption of the manga (which is a fantastic read, from what I've read so far).

if the novel is to be followed, present day Yai is a descendant/reincarnation of Yai who has unlocked his memories of his past lives, I believe. I hope we get season 2 because I feel like it’ll make even more sense.
