I want him to do a proper romantic drama more like rom com as he always do serious drama, I want ceo type romcom…
All he does is be pathetic and die. Oh! He vomits blood too! 🤣. But I think if he returns in heavy rom genre specially historical it won't be any time soon.
There's a rumour that ee will soon leave HR, It's said that his film and drama contract will end in August-September…
Nina it seems you are quite updated, is there a reason Cheng Yi is shooting less drama? from what I know, he took One drama FSH in 2024 and vendetta in 2025 so far. I know he needs rest but so less project? He takes at least two every year right? Or is it his style of working? (I think he is leaving his company so thats why…? )
Cheng Yi has already touched several modern genres — Draw the Line was a legal drama, South Wind Knows My Mood was medical romance, Deep Lurk was a spy/thriller, and The Lost Tomb 2 leaned toward action and mystery. But even after trying all that, people still say he should be limited to historical dramas, and that doesn’t sit right with me.
This time, I want to see him in a modern drama again — but not one that’s love-focused like South Wind Knows My Mood. And not something where he’s surrounded by too many main or supporting roles, like in Draw the Line, where his screen time was reduced even though he did great. Even The Lost Tomb 2, which I personally love, came out when he probably didn’t have as many fans, and while he wasn’t overshadowed, it’s still an older project. Deep Lurk, though, was recent — and he did a solid job there too.
He’s shown that he can handle modern genres well — mystery, law, romance, spy action — and I think it’s time people stop boxing him into just one category. If he does another modern drama, I’d love to see him in something like a detective series — sharp, intelligent, character-driven. Or maybe even romance again, but only with a strong actress and a quality script. Honestly, I just want him to have the freedom to do whatever he feels like. To evolve, try new things, and not be limited by people who clearly haven’t watched what he’s capable of.
Cheng Yi has several dramas that are fully completed — Sword and Beloved, The Journey of Legend, The Vendetta of An, Hero Legends, and The Love in the Storm — but none of them have aired. Only one drama came out in 2024, and nothing is confirmed for 2025. The editing is done. The projects are ready. But they’re still being held back.
Maybe it’s because he’s trying to leave his company. The way his dramas keep getting delayed, how he barely shows up publicly, and how everything feels frozen — it all points to something going on behind the scenes. Maybe he’s finishing his contract quietly, and that’s why the company isn’t pushing his work or letting new projects move forward. It feels like they’re holding onto him, but not helping him.
If he does leave, he’ll likely face a hard road. The dramas tied to this company might stay locked up even longer. He might not be allowed to take certain high-profile roles. Starting fresh means rebuilding — new team, new backing, and maybe needing to take financial risks just to make it happen. Even if his future projects succeed, he might not earn much from the ones stuck under this company’s name.
But right now, none of this is confirmed. There’s no public statement about him leaving. Everything is just speculation based on what’s been happening. Until then, we wait — hoping that one day soon, he’ll finally be free to work and release without being held back.
It seems that many viewers came to Insect Detective expecting a Boys’ Love (BL) storyline, but that's not what this drama is about. Up to episode 18, the plot has taken a unique direction—not heavy on thriller elements, but still intriguing in its own way.
If you're into case-solving or crime dramas, this could be a great pick for you. The way crimes are approached and solved here is really different and refreshing. Even if you’re not a fan of insects, the storytelling is strong enough to keep you hooked.
insects are not the main focus of case solving between.
you can watch as many ads as you like just they have to be available and you can refresh your phone .. there is just limit of flowers (300 flowers per week ) about those claiming it is a glitch sometime the coins get added ,sometimes it doesn't .( you have to try every now and then usually it gets added)
hey kiwis , it seems like the person #17 is not getting that many flowers monthly so if thats what it is we will be in #17 next week .but everybody you gotta push more .
Download the app "kisskh" app then there is a option coin where you can earn 6 coin per ad. And if you are sending 100 flowers = 600 coins. They are hard to get as for per flower it costs 6 coins but anything for Cheng Yi. I am doing it feom three acc 300 flower per week.
Do it while studying or watching something which is not in your phone.
