The story is good like I don't expect anything less from ZhuYi's novels. The cinematography is great as well. But there are A LOT of times that it feels very dragging. I stopped watching at ep 22, finished The Best Thing happily and was just forcing myself to pick up this series again. I watched the last 10 episodes with 60% of it in fast forward like I was just getting the gist of what happened. It's a pain but managed to finished it.
Although, I've always liked Ruonan in her previous series but damn, I was impressed with her in this one. She did amazingly well in giving life to Yifan. I empathized and was rooting for her character. The adults that should protected her have abandoned her & just sitting on the sidelines while one of them destroyed her.
Maybe I expected too much from this series but I did not like it that much. Tbh, this is a bit disappointing. It is still an 8/10 though. It's just that Hidden Love and When I fly towards you are still way better than this.
Best episode ever!!!!! I was giggling & have a series of little breakdown in the corner during the shirt promotion photoshoot aka pre wedding photoshoot lmao. I just lost it with the lying on the lap bro. Screaming over that rooftop confession omg my green flag couple finally. It's just so funny that ArcArm & YothaGun are in VIP seats during their kissing scene I wanna see the behinds of that lmao.
As someone who have low tolerance on taking anyone's b*llshit, I admire but feel so damn sad for Faifa for always having to be the bigger person, always understanding & always have to be the one hurt so everyone around him heals & feel at ease. I am fcking proud for him that he's learning to set boundaries & do things for himself with the help of his baby, Wine. Being each other's safe place? Sigh* best couple ever. Special mention to Junior's beautiful hands bro like in every episode, it stole the spotlight lmao.
Yes it´s bad, yes, someone did die and yes, there´s a cliffhanger after the credits but that doesn't guarantee…
Okay, thank you! Tbh, I am satisfied already with the ending of the series. I thought this one is a happy special episode & was so excited when they said there is one until I read the comments. Thanks for saving me from the trauma lmao.
Okay I'm already subscribed to iQiyi again but the comments are not making me excited to watch this special episode. Hit me now, is it bad? Did someone die? Or bc it's a cliffhanger and there is a season 2? Like should I watch when s2 comes out lol
"From now on, focus on loving yourself. As for the rest, leave it to me." - He Suye
Kicking the air screaming crying in the corner where can we find our own Suye. Xifan finally meet the person she deserves & who deserves her. I started this after putting a pause on First Frost and damn I am glad I did! There have been couple of shifts every now and then so there is no dragging moment at all. And this drama shows seasons changing so beautifully it really feels heartwarming witnessing the development of their romance. Sigh* love is so beautiful why is it not like this in real life. I just wanna be stuck in that feeling. Icb it's ending already! I enjoyed it so much! Very worth the wait!
When the trailer for this series came out, I admit I wasn't that much interested but I know I will be watching for bossneoul. With the first 3 episodes, I wasn't sure if I would be able to get by and finish the series but fortunately, I became more invested in the story and finish episode 4-9 in one sitting. The story is unique but it wasn't explored to its full potential like there are lots of loopholes. Even the JinWim romance (which was kinda cute) was not given much attention for a solid love story. With just one episode left, I honestly dk how they'll wrap up the Cir's mom hurdle and everything without it feeling rushed. They'll most likely release a special episode so I'm kinda crossing my fingers (but not keeping my hopes up) that the ending will be just right.
Damn the thai version is def at least a thousand times better. When I started watching it, I thought it isn't as bad as the comments made it out to be until I understand their concerns. Arashi and Rei's story is an alright short version of Payu & Rain's story. I like the character Kai, he is as close to Sky as he can be. But what's with the color of ties of Fuma not matching his suits at all? This is such a shame because Prapai in suits is so so fine. I also need more smoothness and arrogance from F. I'm sorry to say this, he is really a weak version of Prapai. K and F has no chemistry at all. The sequence of story is messed up so important scenes like the break up, diary discovery & comforting after the almost r incident all feel lacking & empty. I watched PrapaiSky story at least five times so I would know lol. I really like the actor playing Kai tho, he is good. I did finish the series and I gave it 5 rating at the end.
Okay revamp takes too long to be released. Watched between us (def one of my fave thai bls) but didn't really got into the mood to watch this bc it's 17 episodes. I can see that we have 3 couples here. What's the scenes allocation here? Is it just mostly about DeanPharm? My attention span is not that good unless it is really good drama from start to finish so please fill me in guys.
Okay, I think the last scene might have just killed me 😠Faifa being a greener forest in this episode is one thing but when Wine equally worry & take care of him?! Hellooo I just wanna melt bro. And where was this english boy friend of Faifa all along? He's so damn funny. I wanna see him more! The exorcism is so ridiculously funny I need a moment to stop laughing. If without any mishaps in the next episodes, this might easily be my favorite story!
If you don't like it, put a separate comment and move on to a series that makes you happy, not camping on someone's comment & arguing with others. Life is too short, focus on your own preferences rather than icking on someone's yum it does not make you cool i swear lol
Damn novelist zhuyi's male leads are whole green forest. The way Sang Yan always did things to make Yifan's life easier & even continue to take care of her even after she painfully broke his heart in the past. Like hello where can we get our own Sang Yan. Everyone ...Sang Yan, Duan Juaxi & Sang Zhi are indeed different from how they were in Hidden Love. Still beautiful cinematography but this series leans a bit more on sentimentality.
I did not check the whole line up when the casts came out so color me surprised when I saw Edward Chen. His and Miaoyi's story has potential, it was fresh & funny a good contrast to heavy emotional story of the lead couple. Wished they could explore and elaborate on that more because as much as the lead couple's story is amazing, it feels like very dragging already by the time I was in episode 13. I feel like starting the series at their high school era then gradually transition to present rather than flashbacks would put a breather in between making it not too dragging but that's not how they took the storytelling here so yeahh, I still have high hopes though.
I get that the miscommunication may get everyone frustrated but it does not bother me that much. Someone like Hayama who spend almost his whole life numbing himself & putting up walls wouldn't easily be able to break those walls down & share those feelings he chose to kept hidden/suppressed for a very long time. It's very understandable. As for the monologue, I kinda like it bc they gave us a chance to see & hear their true feelings & thoughts. It also adds sentimental quality to the series. There are few times that I wished they did not dragged the story that much but over all, I really enjoyed watching this. Like any other japanese bl dramas, I wished they could give us more dating era.
